Marketing Manager
Ambition is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to take ownership of our UK and USA marketing activity to help us build for the next phase of growth.
Working closely with Ambition’s leadership team, you will translate Ambition’s commercial priorities into focused marketing activity that strengthens our market position, supports our consultants, and creates greater engagement with the clients and audiences that matter most.
This is a broad, hands-on role, moving between planning and doing: developing a campaign, creating content, working with consultants, running an event, owning digital and social channels and analysing what is working.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll own the day-to-day delivery of marketing for Ambition, including;
- Turning Ambition’s commercial priorities into a clear, focused marketing plan.
- Planning and delivering campaigns across priority markets, clients and candidates.
- Creating and activating content, thought leadership, email, social and events.
- Building the profile of Ambition, our leadership team and our consultants.
- Working with consultants on targeted marketing activity.
- Creating the credentials, case studies, presentations and sales collateral to help consultants win business.
- Managing our website, CRM/email activity, social channels and external marketing providers.
- Tracking what’s working and using the data to continually improve where we invest our time and budget.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
