About Us

Green Cross Global is the UK's highest-rated Health and Safety training provider, trusted by major brands including Amazon, ASDA, BT, Coca-Cola and many others. We deliver accredited training in First Aid, Mental Health, Fire Safety and more – backed by excellence, value, and a commitment to safer workplaces.

We've built a brilliant reputation and a client base of around 1,000 organisations almost entirely on word of mouth and the strength of our delivery. What we haven't had is someone dedicated to telling that story. That's the gap you'll fill.

The Role

This is a chance to own marketing at Green Cross Global from the ground up. Not a junior role in a big department – there is no department yet. You'll be it, and you'll build it.

You'll set the direction, pick the channels, decide what we say and how we say it, and then make it happen. You'll have a lot of raw material to work with: a strong brand, a stack of recognisable client logos, a busy calendar of courses and webinars, our free CPR & AED pop-up campaign Ready, Set, Save!, and a sales team who are hungry for good leads. What's missing is someone to pull it all together into a proper marketing engine.

We're looking for someone early in their career, full of energy and ideas, who wants the freedom to experiment and the accountability that comes with it. You'll report directly to the Managing Director, work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams, and see the results of your work in our pipeline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a full-time, remote position – anywhere in the UK – with occasional travel for events, client visits and campaign activity. Mileage, accommodation and meal expenses are fully covered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing strategy and plan for Green Cross Global – set the priorities, agree the budget with the MD, and deliver against it.
  • Run our digital channels: website content, SEO, LinkedIn and other social, email campaigns and paid advertising.
  • Generate and nurture inbound leads for the Sales team, and track what's working and what isn't.
  • Support our existing-client growth by producing campaigns that introduce clients to the rest of our portfolio (First Aid, Mental Health, Fire Safety, e-learning and more).
  • Promote our open course schedule, webinar series and events, and drive attendance.
  • Build our content library: case studies, testimonials, articles, videos and guides that showcase our clients and our expertise.
  • Own the brand – keep our tone, look and messaging consistent across everything we put out.
  • Lead marketing for our Ready, Set, Save! CPR & AED awareness campaign and our social value activity.
  • Manage any agencies, freelancers or tools we use.
  • Report on marketing performance – leads, web traffic, engagement, campaign ROI – and use the data to decide what to do next.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years' experience in a marketing role, ideally in B2B – but if you've got less and can show us what you've done, we want to hear from you.
  • Hands-on ability across digital marketing: you can write a strong LinkedIn post, build an email campaign, update a website page and read an analytics dashboard without waiting for someone else to do it.
  • Excellent writing – clear, warm and human, not corporate.
  • A creative streak and a willingness to try things, measure them, and drop what doesn't work.
  • Self-motivation and organisation – you'll be working independently and juggling several things at once.
  • Commercial awareness – you understand that marketing exists to bring in and grow customers.
  • Confidence to put your ideas forward to the leadership team and argue for them.
  • Experience in Health & Safety, training or professional services is a bonus – but not essential.

Why Join Us

  • Genuine ownership – shape the marketing function and make it yours.
  • 4-day workweek: full pay, better balance.
  • Company pension.
  • Volunteering days and training allowance.
  • Enhanced parental pay.
  • Flexible, high-autonomy role with a real voice at the leadership table.

If you're ready to build something rather than inherit it, apply now and help us tell the Green Cross Global story.

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Sick pay
  • Work from home
