Marketing Manager Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a growing consumer brand, taking ownership of strategic marketing plans, product innovation, and customer engagement initiatives. The role combines commercial responsibility with creative brand leadership in a collaborative hybrid working environment.

Our client is a well-established FMCG business based in Berkshire.

Description

  • Develop and execute brand plans to drive sustainable growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Own the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and shopper channels.
  • Analyse consumer, customer, and market insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage new product development (NPD) and product launches from concept through to market execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Category, Insights, and Supply Chain teams to deliver commercial objectives.
  • Monitor brand performance, track key KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations to optimise results.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and return on investment.
  • Support customer presentations and work with retail partners to maximise brand visibility and performance.
  • Lead agency relationships and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Contribute to the wider business strategy through innovative thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns with brand guidelines and supports long-term business objectives.

Profile

A successful Marketing Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in the FMCG industry, ideally within a regulated sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering brand strategies that drive growth, market share, and consumer engagement.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, shopper, and retail activation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse market trends, consumer insights, and campaign performance to inform decision-making.
  • Experience managing innovation projects and product launches from concept through to market execution.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Category, Finance, and external agency partners.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Degree educated in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
