Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our creative agency and work across a small number of luxury lifestyle clients in the outdoor living sector.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the bigger picture but is just as comfortable getting into the detail. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day marketing of our clients, from planning campaigns and writing copy to posting and engaging on social, setting up photoshoots, managing all channels of customer communication and keeping a close eye on what is working.
You will be naturally organised, commercially minded and comfortable managing lots of moving parts. You will enjoy solving creative problems, finding ways to make things happen and seeing projects through to the end.
You’ll be familiar with a range of marketing systems and software, including Mailchimp, Meta, WordPress, CRM and analytics tools.
What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of marketing activity and keeping activity moving against agreed plans and targets.
- Planning and delivering campaigns across social, email, website, content, PR, paid media and other relevant channels.
- Writing clear, engaging, on brand copy for social, email, websites, campaigns and marketing materials.
- Planning and managing marketing collateral, making sure the right things are produced at the right time.
- Managing website content, ensuring information is accurate and content is current and relevant.
- Creating and managing social content, including posting, scheduling and engaging with audiences.
- Monitoring performance and reporting on activity against agreed targets, using results to inform what happens next.
- Working with a paid media specialist to keep them informed of wider marketing activity, ensure campaigns are aligned with overall objectives and contribute to making paid media activity as effective as possible. You should be confident working with the numbers, asking the right questions and understanding how paid media fits into the wider marketing mix.
- Planning photoshoots and managing collaborations, from briefing through to making sure the resulting assets are properly stored and used.
- Managing image libraries and content systems so that useful assets can be easily found and shared across the wider team.
- Developing practical processes and systems that make marketing activity easier to manage and more effective.
- Working closely with the Marketing Director, with support from the wider team, to anticipate what clients need, identify opportunities and come up with ideas.
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming someone they can rely on to keep their marketing moving.
- Attending client meetings and events off site when required. Some projects may involve working outside normal office hours or occasional overnight stays.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
You will be an experienced marketeer – ideally with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role – who is comfortable taking responsibility rather than waiting to be told what to do. You will understand how the different parts of the marketing mix work together and be able to move easily between strategic thinking and getting things done.
You'll be:
- Highly organised, with a good eye for detail; able to manage changing priorities without losing sight of the end goal, and with a habit of getting things finished.
- Commercially aware, able to understand what a business is trying to achieve and connect marketing activity to those goals.
- Creative and practical, able to come up with ideas but also work out how to make them happen.
- Confident with digital marketing, including social media, email, websites, analytics and paid media.
- Brand-conscious. You understand the importance of maintaining a strong, consistent brand across all marketing activity and will make sure that content, collateral and wider marketing decisions are appropriate for the brand and its audience.
- A good writer, able to adapt your tone and style for different brands and audiences.
- Comfortable with numbers, able to monitor results, spot what is and isn't working and explain this clearly.
- Resourceful and resilient, able to find a way forward when plans change or things don't go to plan.
- A confident communicator, comfortable dealing directly with clients and working with creative, marketing and specialist teams.
- A team player, generous with your knowledge and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
- A self-starter, able to see what needs doing and get on with it. Know when to take something forward yourself, when to challenge an approach and when something needs to be referred to the Marketing Director.
