A bit of background on Elmo
About ELMO UK
ELMO is a cloud-based HR and payroll platform, founded in Australia in 2002, covering the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to payroll, performance and learning. ELMO is an established, trusted provider for mid-sized organizations across Australia and New Zealand and is now building its presence in the UK. The UK expansion is backed by continued investment, including senior leadership hires and the acquisition of Rotageek, and represents a significant new growth market for the business. This role is central to that expansion.
🌟Our Values: What We Live By
- Start With People: You champion the customer experience, create psychological safety, and help the whole team deliver with confidence.
- Own It, Together: You take responsibility for quality outcomes, collaborate across disciplines, and help turn incidents into learning.
- Clear Is Kind: You make defects, risks, coverage, and quality decisions clear, actionable, and respectful.
🔥Why This Role Is SO Important:
The Marketing Manager, ELMO UK owns marketing for the UK market. The role is responsible for building awareness, demand, and commercial momentum for the ELMO brand in the UK, and is the primary point of contact for all marketing activity within the UK business. This is a hands-on generalist role. There is no UK marketing team beneath it, so the person in this seat sets the direction and personally delivers the campaigns, content, and collateral that follow. They will work with a high degree of autonomy, supported by the MME Marketing team and working closely with ELMO UK leadership and Sales. The role has three horizons:
Immediate:
- Deliver quick wins that improve market presence and sales readiness, including refreshing the UK website and social channels, building a bank of relevant content and posts for the team to use, and creating or updating the collateral needed across the sales process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
