We're going all out to find even better ways to help even more people who need our support. Our values are at the heart of who we are and everything we do, inspiring our thinking and guiding our actions.
Our organisational strategy sets out how we'll fight even harder to make every pound raised count for even more. With your help, we'll transform cancer care for good.

About the role

We're looking for a talented Marketing Manager to plan and deliver impactful multi-channel fundraising marketing campaigns that inspire supporters and generate vital income for Macmillan. Working across a range of fundraising products and audiences, you'll use insight and performance data to create campaign strategies and optimise campaigns, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

About the team

Responsible for delivering Macmillan’s Coffee Morning and Individual Giving products, we have the exciting opportunity to work across many marketing channels, from Face-to-face, digital and out of home to acquire new supporters, with direct mail, email and telemarketing playing key roles in our stewardship journeys.
We're recruiting for 2 Marketing Manager vacancies and are ideally looking for people who can join us in December 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • To deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns to planned schedules and budgets, with the support of Marketing Executives and Assistants
  • Use data and insight to monitor campaign performance, deliver optimisations and make decisions
  • Lead the day-to-day management of relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders, to enable the delivery of excellent fundraising marketing campaigns and identify areas of improvement or opportunity.
  • Support fundraising leaders to deliver core budget, planning and strategy processes
  • Develop collaborative relationships with Marketing Executives and Assistants, to assist in creating their objectives, provide feedback on performance and support their development
  • Line-management of one or two Marketing Executives or Marketing Assistant, responsible for their workload and development plan, wellbeing and pastoral care (if applicable – not all Marketing Managers have line management responsibility).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
