The Opportunity
We’re supporting a highly successful development and design agency in their search for a Marketing Manager.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands agency life and knows how to market an agency. Someone who can take brilliant client work across web development, digital product and service design and turn it into stories, content and campaigns that get noticed.
It’s a hands-on role spanning the full marketing mix, from content and campaigns to brand and CRM. You’ll own both the strategy and the execution, working closely with the design and development teams to shape how the agency presents itself and is seen in the market.
If you’re a commercially minded marketer who loves great creative work, knows how to tell a compelling story and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, this could be a great fit.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing the agency’s marketing strategy to build brand awareness, strengthen positioning and generate qualified leads
- Planning and managing content across the website, blog, case studies and social channels, bringing the agency’s work and expertise to life
- Owning the agency’s positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across marketing and client-facing materials
- Managing CRM activity and email campaigns from planning through to execution and optimisation
- Planning and coordinating events, webinars and speaking opportunities to raise the agency’s profile within target industries
- Supporting new business activity through compelling pitch materials, proposals and sales collateral
- Keeping close to industry trends across web design, development and digital marketing, using these insights to inform content and campaigns
- Working closely with creative and technical teams to identify stories, opportunities and new ways to showcase the agency’s work

Who we're looking for
- Agency experience is essential, ideally with experience marketing web development, digital product, design or service design projects
- A strong storyteller who can take technical, complex or process-led work and turn it into clear, compelling content
- Experience managing a CRM and running email campaigns end to end
- Comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how marketing can support brand, reputation and new business
- Someone who enjoys working closely with creative and technical teams and can bring people together around a story
