An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, digitally confident and organised individual to join Coulters as a Marketing Manager.

The Role

This is a varied marketing role with a strong focus on content creation, social media and brand. The successful candidate will play an important part in how Coulters is presented across our digital and marketing channels, creating content that reflects our brand, showcases our properties and communicates our expertise across Edinburgh and East Lothian.

The role will involve creating a wide range of content, including property and location features, market commentary, social media campaigns, newsletters and content around our sponsorships and events. There will also be opportunities to work closely with colleagues across our Estate Agency and Legal teams to identify stories and bring their expertise to life.

We are looking for someone who is based in Edinburgh or East Lothian and who can understand our tone of voice, our audience and our positioning and apply this consistently across everything they create.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience. We are more interested in someone with strong creative ability, excellent communication skills and a genuine understanding of how to present a brand than a specific number of years' experience.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Social Media

  • Create, film, edit and publish engaging content across Coulters' social media channels, including property tours, market commentary, location features and brand content.
  • Develop creative ideas that showcase our properties, people, local areas and expertise in a way that feels authentic to the Coulters brand.
  • Write clear, engaging and accurate copy for social media, newsletters, blogs and other marketing communications.
  • Manage the day-to-day social media schedule, adapting content appropriately for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor performance and use insights to inform future content and activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
