MARKETING MANAGER

About us

"Arborea is industrialising photosynthesis to turn CO2 into food without fertile land".

Our mission-driven company is accelerating the transition to a healthy and sustainable food system by developing ground-breaking cell cultivation technologies to produce the most sustainable ingredients and proteins on the planet. Our journey starts with a revolutionary platform to grow photosynthetic microorganisms, the “BioSolar Leaf”, which mimics the functioning mechanisms of real leaves to boost productivity while slashing costs and has gained strong traction from the world’s largest food corporations.

Following our latest venture capital-financing, we are scaling to production and expanding an amazing team of enthusiastic, collaborative and mission-driven individuals who take pride in using their diverse skills to make healthy and sustainable food accessible to everyone. Our core values include perseverance, collaboration, curiosity, innovation, transparency and altruism, and we strive to bring these values to life every day.

We join a new generation of entrepreneurs, activists, engineers and scientists who recognize that the centuries-old food system cannot sustain the dietary needs of 7 billion people and counting - and that the intersection between nature and technology holds a solution.

About this Job

This is the marketing function at Arborea. You will own how the company presents itself — to customers, prospects, investors, partners and the industry — and you will build the systems and content that make that presentation consistent.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The remit is deliberately broad. You will be writing a newsletter one morning and briefing the PR agency that afternoon, then pulling competitor intelligence into a board update the next day. It suits someone who is comfortable owning outcomes without a team behind them, and who loves marketing communications and organising specialist agencies to deliver the marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Narrative and brand. Own Arborea's external narrative — the story the company tells about what it does and why it matters — and keep it consistent across every channel and audience.
  • Manage the relationship with our PR agency: setting priorities, briefing them, supplying material and holding them to results.
  • Monitor competitors and the wider market and translate what you find into positioning decisions.
  • Digital channels. Run Arborea's LinkedIn presence and wider social channels, including content planning, publishing and community engagement.
  • Manage the website: content, updates, SEO basics and coordination with [our developer / agency] on structural changes.
  • Content and sales collateral. Create content across formats — articles, thought leadership, social posts, video scripts, web copy.
  • Build and maintain the sales toolkit: pitch decks, one-pagers, product collateral and presentation templates.
  • Develop customer case studies end to end, from securing the customer's agreement through to interview, write-up and approval.
  • Communications and CRM. Own the CRM and contact database: data quality, segmentation, and the campaigns and sequences that run through it. Run customer and prospect communications — announcements, campaigns, lifecycle and nurture messaging.
  • Support investor communications, including investor updates and board materials, working closely with the CCO and the leadership team.
  • Events. Plan and deliver Arborea's presence at industry events: selecting which to attend, managing logistics and materials, and following up on the pipeline generated.
