Who We Are

Simply Lunch is a rapidly growing, private family-owned food-to-go manufacturer based in London. Our commitment to delicious food and our local communities has been central to our South London business since it was founded in 1979. Today, we are as committed as ever to creating high-quality hand-crafted products, made to improve lives and protect our beautiful planet. All our food is handmade at our facility in South London with the same care, love and admiration that we’ve shown since day one. Our talented team fuels the success at Simply Lunch, combining expertise and passion to craft products that improve lives through delicious food.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join Simply Lunch, a fast-paced and growing food-to-go business working across a wide range of sectors and customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, bring ideas to life and play a key role in how our brands show up in the market.

You’ll lead marketing activity across campaigns, product launches, customer support, internal communications and brand development. Working closely with Commercial, NPD, the People Team and external partners, you’ll help us deliver clear, engaging and commercially focused marketing that supports our growth ambitions.

If you’re commercially minded, organised, creative and confident managing multiple projects, this role offers the chance to make a real impact in a business where marketing is central to our customer relationships, brand reputation and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Support the development and delivery of the overall marketing strategy, annual marketing plans and marketing calendar.
  • Use market trends, customer insight and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor marketing performance, return on investment and opportunities to improve efficiency, including the use of AI and emerging technologies.

Brand, Campaigns & Communications

  • Own and protect the integrity of all company brands, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across all channels.
  • Lead integrated campaigns, product launches and marketing communications from planning through to delivery.
  • Manage key digital channels, including the company website, SEO, paid search, organic search and social media activity.
  • Oversee brand development, packaging, point of sale, marketing collateral, events, PR, awards activity and incoming enquiries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
