What’s the role?
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and dynamic Marketing Manager based in London to manage and execute our marketing initiatives across the UK and European markets. As a leading provider of fund administration and technology solutions to the private equity and alternative investment industry, Gen II partners with General Partners (GPs) to deliver critical operational support and innovative solutions.
This role is ideal for a proactive marketer who excels at the intersection of B2B financial services, digital strategy, and local market execution. Based in our London office, the role is pivotal to maintaining a seamless, highly collaborative partnership with our US marketing team, and ensuring consistent global brand positioning and effective cross-border campaign alignment.
What you’ll be doing
Regional Strategy and Execution
- Local Campaign Management: Plan, localise, and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, email, content, and events) tailored to the UK and European private equity ecosystems.
- Lead Generation: Drive regional pipeline growth by deploying targeted account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to engage emerging and established fund managers.
- Content Adaptation and Creation: Adapt global marketing collateral, insights, and digital assets for the European market, ensuring local regulatory compliance and cultural relevance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
