Role: Marketing Manager · Full-time · £40,000 + up to 10% bonus
Location: Canary Wharf, London (on-site)

FlexiFone offers a multi-network mobile service to consumers and businesses in the UK. Our smart multi-network SIMs automatically switch between all four UK networks (EE, O2, Vodafone and Three) based on coverage wherever you go, as well as offer Free Roaming in over 140+ destinations. We were backed by Innovate UK in early 2024 and have since established direct roaming agreements with multiple carriers.

We're hiring our in-house Marketing Manager. This is a big remit, but you won't be doing it alone. An agency runs our ad accounts and SEO. A production company makes our videos. We have creators and affiliate partners. You direct all of them, and you decide with the founder where a substantial six-figure budget goes. This is the job where you stop asking permission and start owning outcomes.

What you will do

  • Make the content. Social creatives, ad copy, landing page content, emails, sales collateral, and SEO articles for our website.
  • Run the campaigns end to end, from strategy, execution to reporting.
  • Own the agency relationship. Our PPC and SEO partner does the technical and grunt work; you set the priorities, judge the output and hold them to it.
  • Run the partner roster: our video production agency, our creators and influencers, our sponsorships and our affiliate programme. Coordinate the project end-to-end: Find them, brief them, chase them, and measure what each one returned.
  • Keep your hands dirty in the ad accounts with a small in-house test budget of your own.
  • Own email and customer lifecycle: onboarding, cross-sell, and retention.
  • A small portion of your time will also be spent on coordinating our trade shows and events, from stand and collateral through to lead follow-up.
  • Track the numbers and KPIs that matter: engagement, CPA, ROAS, ROI, churn; and prepare a monthly report.
  • Spend real time with leads, prospects and customers, so our marketing is built on what buyers actually say.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years in marketing, with campaigns you took from brief to result.
  • A genuinely strong writer - this is the single biggest part of the role.
  • Well-versed with the latest AI tools and models to get grunt work done - Claude, OpenAI and more.
  • Comfortable making a decent creative yourself in Canva, Figma or similar tools.
  • Enough working knowledge of paid search and paid social to brief an agency and challenge their reporting. Hands-on account experience is a real plus.
  • Comfortable managing external suppliers - writing the brief, chasing the deliverable, and saying so when the work isn't good enough.
  • Comfortable in Google Analytics and spreadsheets, and able to say what a number actually means.
  • Organised enough to keep several campaigns, an agency and an event moving at once.
  • Someone who wants more ownership than a bigger company would give them yet.
  • Last but not the least, someone who’s excited to be on camera!

Experience with project coordination, managing video production, customer engagement programs, influencer and affiliate management is a strong plus. So is telecoms or subscription-model experience.

What you get

  • £40,000 base salary plus a performance bonus of up to 10%, with a formal review at 12 months against targets we set together.
  • A real six-figure budget to plan and spend, and a full roster of agencies, creators and partners to run - at a point in your career when most people are still running one channel.
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays, and a workplace pension.
  • Support towards Google Ads, Meta or similar certification.
  • A direct line to the founder. No layers, no committees, decisions in days.

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note about one campaign you're proud of, what you did, what it cost, and what it returned. That note matters more to us than a cover letter. Email us at careers@flexifone.co.uk.

Process: a 30-minute intro call, an hour with the founder, then a short practical exercise.
