Role Overview
As Marketing Manager at bbold, you will lead the development and delivery of the brand's marketing strategy, driving awareness, customer engagement, and commercial growth across all channels. Managing a cross-functional team, you will oversee brand, digital, social media, and product marketing initiatives, ensuring campaigns align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will use consumer insights, performance data, and market trends to shape marketing activity, optimise budgets, and support successful product launches. This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially minded marketer who is passionate about building brands, driving eCommerce growth, and delivering impactful, integrated marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop, own, and deliver the overall marketing strategy for bbold across the UK and ROI retail markets, ensuring alignment with company objectives, brand vision, and commercial goals.
- Lead and manage a cross-functional marketing function, providing clear direction across social media, influencer marketing, digital, PR, content, and brand initiatives.
- Influence and contribute to product development decisions, ensuring NPD strategy is commercially aligned and reflective of market demand.
- Plan product launches and marketing activity in line with key trading periods to maximise commercial performance and market impact.
- Own the allocation, management, and analysis of the overall bbold marketing budget, ensuring spend is strategically invested to maximise ROI and commercial impact.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic direction.

Social Media, Influencer & Content Strategy
- Define and lead the social media, influencer, and content strategy to build brand awareness, engagement, and community growth.
- Oversee content production, including photoshoots and campaign assets, ensuring all outputs are high quality, consistent, and on-brand.
- Provide strategic direction to social media and content teams to ensure all activity supports wider brand and commercial objectives and maintains the correct TOV.
- Build and nurture the bbold community across UK and ROI through social platforms and events, driving engagement, advocacy, and user-generated content.
- Develop and manage influencer and creator partnerships, ensuring collaborations are commercially effective, brand-aligned, and performance-driven.
Digital Marketing, Campaigns & Online Sales
- Oversee the digital marketing strategy across TikTok, paid social, email, Amazon, and the bbold website, ensuring alignment with the commercial plan.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and product launches across digital, social, influencer, PR, and retail channels.
- Oversee ongoing optimisation of website content and the customer journey to drive improved conversion and a stronger brand experience.
- Manage PR activity and brand partnerships to increase visibility and campaign reach.
- Ensure all digital activity is aligned to the wider commercial and brand strategy.
Performance, Budget & Insights
- Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance across all channels, providing actionable insights to optimise activity and inform decision-making.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring investment is allocated to maximise ROI, growth, and commercial return.
- Continuously evaluate campaign, channel, and customer performance to improve efficiency, conversion, and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Use data, insights, and testing to drive continuous improvement across all marketing activity.

Key Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years’ senior marketing experience, ideally in pharmacy, health, beauty, or retail sectors, with proven leadership of high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset, capable of driving brand growth, awareness, and sales through innovative marketing initiatives.
- Deep expertise in consumer insight, market research, and trend forecasting, turning data into actionable strategies.
- Hands-on experience leading digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, and multi-channel campaigns.
- Exceptional project and people management skills, able to prioritise and deliver multiple initiatives on time and to budget.
- Track record of successful collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and brand partners to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, influencing at all levels.
- Creative thinker with a strong eye for design, detail, and brand consistency.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, digital platforms, and social media management software.
- Experience planning and executing events, tradeshows, or experiential marketing campaigns is a plus.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
