Marketing Manager - All Bar One

Are you an ambitious brand marketer with a passion for food, drink and great guest experiences? Join All Bar One as our permanent Marketing Manager and help shape the brand, grow consumer demand and drive sales across our bars.

Part of Mitchells & Butlers’ City division, All Bar One is a premium bar brand built on warmth, effortless style and sociability. For over 30 years, our welcoming spaces in landmark locations across the UK have brought people together over beer, coffee, cocktails, wine and quality food.

You’ll report to the Head of Brand Marketing for our City division, work with the wider City Marketing team and lead an Assistant Marketing Manager. This mobile role offers flexibility to work from home, the office or our bars, with travel to London on average once a week. Travel requirements may vary according to business needs.

The opportunity

You’ll turn brand strategy and guest insight into annual marketing plans that build brand equity, attract guests and drive commercial growth. Working with operations, sales, suppliers and other internal teams, you’ll help deliver a consistent guest experience across food, drink and our bar environments.

  • Develop and deliver annual marketing plans that support the brand’s short- and medium-term strategy, sales growth and market share.
  • Create campaigns that strengthen brand positioning, engage target guests and drive visits and sales. Evaluate results to improve future activity.
  • Use guest insight and market understanding to evolve the brand proposition and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Drive the development and launch of food and drink menus, working with relevant teams to deliver them effectively across our bars.
  • Work with suppliers and third-party partners to create compelling reasons to visit and activations that build awareness and maximise sales.
  • Partner with the sales team to grow large-party bookings and celebrations.
  • Develop marketing plans for new openings and refurbished sites, and support operational teams with local marketing and PR.
  • Manage the brand marketing budget, monitor spend and assess the effectiveness of marketing activity.
  • Lead, manage and coach an Assistant Marketing Manager.

What We’d Like To See From You

  • Strong brand marketing experience, with a track record of delivering campaigns that engage consumers and achieve commercial results.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects at pace, with close attention to detail.
  • The ability to use consumer insight and campaign performance to guide marketing decisions.
  • Experience of managing marketing budgets and influencing internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience of leading and developing others.
  • A strategic, commercial and creative approach, with the initiative to turn ideas into action.
  • A passion for food, drink and great guest experiences.
  • Experience of hospitality brand marketing and launching food and drink menus would be an advantage.
