About us

VirtualSpeech is an award-winning learning platform to practice leadership conversations and build confidence in the workplace. We’re revolutionising the way people learn by leveraging AI and virtual reality (VR) to provide a practical way to practice workplace skills, receive feedback and coaching, and learn more effectively!

We have a market-leading product and have helped over 1 million people across 150+ countries to improve their skills and confidence so they can excel in the workplace. Clients include Deutsche Telekom, Bayer, PwC, Imperial College Business School, and Warwick Business School.

The role

This is an opportunity to own marketing at a B2B SaaS startup selling into enterprise. We’re looking for someone who wants autonomy and has a hands-on approach: got an idea for a campaign, a channel, a vertical? Pitch it, test it, ship it. You’ll have clear goals and accountability for impact on the pipeline, and work closely with the wider commercial team. You’ll have ownership over our demand gen and lifecycle marketing activities, with support from our SEO and content strategist, who you’ll manage. This is a player-coach role: you'll spend roughly 60% of your time executing, and 40% leading, planning and analysing.

We already have the foundations: strong organic traffic, established enterprise customers like Abbott, PwC and Zurich Insurance, and clear growth goals for the next 12 months. What we need is someone to turn that into momentum, and to shape what our marketing looks like from here.

What you'll own

  • Pipeline contribution: targets for qualified demos and marketing-sourced pipeline, reported monthly in the commercial meeting
  • Sprint-based marketing: plan and run 4-6 week marketing sprints (strategy, assets, launch, review), from brief to results
  • Content: content production, predominantly for LinkedIn
  • Campaign execution: managing marketing deliverables based on the current commercial focus (case studies, webinars, ebooks etc - obviously not all at once)
  • Positioning and messaging: working alongside sales and customer success to keep our messaging hierarchy and website journeys sharp
  • Managing one team member: set clear briefs, priorities and goals, give regular feedback, and grow their ownership beyond task lists
  • Measurement: attribution discipline, good use of data-tools, and honest reporting on what's qualified (we care about qualified meetings, not vanity metrics)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be great at this if you have

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally SaaS, with at least 2-3 in a startup where you did the work yourself
  • A broad marketing range: demand gen, social content creation, lifecycle / CRM. We’re not expecting specialism, but a generalist who can see the whole picture, deep dive where it matters, and delegate where someone else is stronger.
  • Experience with HubSpot (workflows, reporting, attribution)
  • Strong writing and messaging instincts, plus hands-on content skills such as designing on Canva and producing videos
  • AI literacy - effectively understand and use AI in marketing, including good judgment on where AI tools speed things up and where they hinder.
  • Strong attention to detail - as such, we’ll only consider applications submitted via this short form: https://tinyurl.com/485yfnww
  • Experience marketing to enterprise or mid-market buyers: you understand long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and L&D/HR buyers
  • Some management experience, formal or informal, and a coaching style that builds ownership rather than handing out task lists
  • Comfort with numbers: you set targets, track them, and adjust

Nice to have

  • L&D, HR tech, edtech or training industry experience
  • Experience with thought leadership programmes (webinars, research, events)
  • Familiarity with GEO/AI-search visibility

Don’t tick every box? If this role excites you and you’re strong in most of these areas, we’d still love to hear from you.

How we work

We’re fully remote, and built on trust.

  • So we communicate and make work visible. Share progress, blockers and decisions openly (Slack, written updates, short async check-ins). No one should have to chase you to know where things stand.
  • Ownership over instructions. You'll get goals and context, not a task list.
  • Marketing and sales operate as one team. You'll attend commercial meetings and bring insight, not just reports.
  • Test & iterate mindset: experiment, measure, and share what you learn (including what didn't work)

What we offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Remote working - live and work anywhere in the UK
  • Option to work outside of the UK for 6 weeks per year
  • 4 wellbeing days per year
  • £500 personal development budget per year
  • Enhanced pension
  • Flexible working hours
  • 28 days holiday (incl. UK Bank Holidays)

We are an equal opportunity employer, and we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive workplace. All applicants will be considered for employment based on merit, regardless of age, disability, gender identity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. If you require any adjustments during the interview process, please let us know.
