At Dick Lovett
We're proud to represent some of the world's most respected automotive brands. We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and deliver marketing activity across BMW, MINI and Jaguar Land Rover, helping to drive commercial performance, strengthen customer relationships, and support the long-term success of our dealerships.
This is a varied, hands-on management role within a small in-house team. You'll help shape marketing strategy, influence senior stakeholders and develop your team, whilst also remaining actively involved in day-to-day delivery.
On any given day, that could mean:
- Writing a campaign brief
- Updating a marketing plan
- Reviewing website content
- Preparing reports
- Extracting and cleansing customer data
- Maintaining social media schedules
- Helping to organise and host a customer event
A Role at the Heart of the Business
This is an office and field-based role that places you at the centre of our business.
You'll spend time building relationships with Heads of Business, Sales, and Aftersales teams, understanding local market opportunities and helping dealerships achieve their objectives. You'll also regularly visit our sites, attend meetings, and support customer events and activations across the Group.
We believe the best marketing decisions are made when people are close to the customer, the product, and the teams they support. As a result, this role is highly collaborative and visible within the business.
Whilst we always take a sensible and pragmatic approach to flexibility when needed, this isn't a role that's designed to be remote. Success comes from being present, building relationships, and gaining a first-hand understanding of the business and customers you support.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating integrated marketing activity across New Car, Used Car, and Aftersales operations.
Working closely with dealership management teams, manufacturer partners, and our in-house Digital, Content, and Design specialists, you'll ensure activity is commercially effective, aligned with brand standards, and delivered to a consistently high standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
