Experience more with St Austell Brewery as a Marketing Manager working with our business partners..

For over 175 years, St Austell Brewery has been crafting quality beers, running award-winning pubs and serving communities across the South West. Today, we're a leading brewing, hospitality and drinks wholesale business, united by a shared purpose: brewing great experiences for generations to come. Through our commitment to sustainability and forming strong partnerships, we're helping to protect the people, places and communities that make our region special.

Working closely with Business Development Managers and spending time in trade, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our diverse pub estate, identifying opportunities to drive footfall, sales, guest acquisition and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Business Partners to identify growth opportunities and deliver insight-led marketing support that drives footfall, sales and guest loyalty.
  • Build strong relationships across the estate through regular engagement, site visits and marketing guidance.
  • Develop and manage scalable marketing toolkits, campaigns, resources and training that help Business Partners market their businesses effectively.
  • Lead the development of digital marketing capability, supporting Business Partners to maximise websites, social media, CRM and other digital channels.
  • Create engaging communications, including newsletters, PR opportunities and social content that support Business Partner engagement and recruitment.
  • Provide marketing support for CAPEX projects, trade events, promotional activity and Business Partner recruitment.
  • Translate guest, market and competitor insights into practical recommendations that support commercial growth.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams, brand partners and internal stakeholders to share best practice and maximise opportunities across the estate.
  • Manage and maintain key Business Partner marketing platforms, content and estate photography.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
