The Role: Marketing Manager - Corporate Pensions (12 month Fixed Term Contract)
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for redefining and executing key marketing support collateral for M&G’s Corporate Pension’s Workplace propositions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in taking products and propositions to market ensuring they’re effectively communicated and positioned to the target market. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate creativity in storytelling, format, key messaging, and crucially a critical understanding of the distribution process to ensure delivery of the right collateral and support for Client Managers to maximise business from existing supporters and new audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders in Marketing, Distribution, Proposition and Customer Comms to refine and implement a comprehensive take-to-market strategy for M&G’s range of Workplace, with a key focus on supporting Distribution colleagues in their conversations with employers, Schemes and Advisers.
- Develop and deliver compelling marketing collateral that effectively supports Client Managers and their clients through the recommendation journey.
- Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate the value proposition to key target markets.
- Select and optimise channels for maximum reach and impact.
- Define, design and execute innovative marketing formats and campaigns.
- Identify the specific needs of audience segments to create engagement and action with them.
- Collaborate with content, digital, communications and events teams to ensure cohesive and impactful delivery.
- Utilise data visualisation tools to enhance storytelling and presentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional input to bring marketing collateral and go-to-market strategy to life.
- Reflect an astute understanding of the distribution process in the creation of effective support and collateral for the Client Managers.
- Through the development of compelling marketing collateral, support execution of integrated marketing plans and campaigns, managing strategy, creative and media briefings, execution, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ensure effective campaign management to deliver and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, including events, video, thought leadership, digital (including SEO), and social media.
- Use measurement, evaluation, and reporting on marketing collateral performance to inform and shape future plans.
- Analyse data and feedback to continuously improve marketing strategies and execution.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in successfully taking products and propositions to market and delivering against growth targets.
- Experience in Corporate Pensions, Workplace and B2B and/or wider financial services is preferable but not essential.
- Demonstrable creativity in storytelling, optimising channel choice, format, key messaging, and audience targeting.
- Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate input from various teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of data visualisation tools and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid - based in either Stirling or Edinburgh. Colleagues are expected to work from the office 2 - 3 days per week
