Marketing Manager - Creative, Events and Campaigns

Location: Manchester
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon - Fri.

Job Role

The Marketing Manager – Creative, Events and Campaigns will lead the Group’s marketing strategy across multiple brands, managing a team and delivering integrated campaigns that drive events, lead enquiries and commercial growth.

The role combines brand management, digital and traditional marketing, event promotion, campaign development and new product/brand launches, while working closely with Sales, Content, Web and Operational teams. The successful candidate will manage budgets, monitor campaign performance, take ownership of conference and events delivery, identify growth opportunities, and develop the marketing team to achieve departmental objectives.

You will be joining a skilled marketing team specialising in delivering lead generation and marketing strategies for its clients within the legal and medical industries supporting solicitors, charities and support groups – including Brain Injury Group and Veterans Welfare Group. Marketing Manager – Creative, Events and Campaigns

  • Manage and develop the Designer, Paid Media Executive and Events Executive, ensuring clear objectives, priorities and performance expectations.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all UKE Group brands.
  • Develop and grow the Group’s professional education programme, including webinars, podcasts and other educational content.
  • Lead the development and launch of new brands, products and services, from initial concept through to market launch.
  • Own traditional media activity across all brands, including leaflets, banners, print and other offline marketing materials.
  • Develop and deliver integrated campaign plans and strategies designed to drive event sales, organic enquiries and paid enquiries across the Group.
  • Work closely with the Web Development, Content and Technology teams to ensure websites are accurate, up to date, user-friendly and aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth across digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Own and drive the delivery of the marketing department’s agreed objectives, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the ongoing training, development and performance of team members, supporting their professional growth and effectiveness.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring spend is maximised and opportunities across digital marketing channels are identified and capitalised on.
  • Lead campaign performance reporting, tracking KPIs, analysing results and reporting on marketing performance to senior management.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and other departments to ensure marketing activity supports wider commercial objectives.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in marketing, including at least 3 years’ experience working at Marketing Manager or senior marketing level.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a marketing team, with the ability to set objectives, manage performance and support team development.
  • Strong experience in brand management, including maintaining brand consistency and developing brand positioning, messaging and visual identity.
  • Strong ability to set clear deadlines, prioritise workload and consistently deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Demonstrable experience across digital marketing, including both paid and organic channels, with an understanding of performance, optimisation and lead generation.
  • Proven experience in event marketing, including developing and delivering campaigns to drive registrations, attendance and commercial results.
  • Strong experience in campaign planning and creation, from initial concept and audience targeting through to delivery, measurement and optimisation.
  • Experience developing and launching new products, services or brands, ideally within a multi-brand organisation.
  • Experience working collaboratively with content, web, design, technology and commercial teams to deliver integrated marketing activity.
