Marketing Manager

Contract: 9 Month Contract

Day rate: £149 per day outside London / £162 per day inside London (PAYE)

Location: London/Hybrid


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of marketing activity focused on the schools and education sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior marketing professional to take ownership of complex, high-profile campaigns, working across multiple stakeholders, partners and external suppliers.

The Role

  • Lead the development and delivery of marketing strategies and campaigns for the schools/education sector.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns across owned and paid-for channels, with a strong focus on digital marketing.
  • Develop audience segmentation, positioning and channel strategies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with programme and business development teams to embed effective marketing approaches into programmes, products and contracts.
  • Develop marketing proposals and input into contract bids, including negotiating budgets and resources with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead campaign measurement, analytics and evaluation, using insight to optimise future activity.
  • Manage internal and external agencies, suppliers and campaign delivery partners.
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert marketing advice on complex projects and programmes.

About You

  • Significant experience designing and delivering strategic marketing plans for programmes, products or services.
  • Experience managing complex or global marketing programmes.
  • Strong digital marketing and campaign management experience, including content marketing and campaign evaluation.
  • Experience negotiating budgets, resources and priorities with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience using customer/audience insight and analytics to inform marketing decisions.
  • Experience managing or leading marketing teams.
  • A proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively across a complex organisation.
  • Experience embedding an audience-led and marketing-focused culture within an organisation.
