Viper Innovations is a King’s Award-winning engineering technology company partnered with The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). We deliver advanced monitoring and asset integrity solutions that protect mission-critical electrical systems in subsea energy, rail, and industrial sectors worldwide.


The Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to play a key role in Viper’s next stage of growth. As we expand into new markets and deepen customer engagement, you will help bring our Intelligence Installed approach to life through impactful, customer-focused marketing.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Sales and wider teams, you will translate Viper’s technical expertise into compelling campaigns, customer experiences and market engagement that clearly demonstrate the value we create.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role spanning campaigns, demand generation, digital marketing, events, marketing technology and performance measurement. We are looking for a creative, curious marketer who enjoys turning insight into action and delivering marketing that connects customers with Viper’s intelligent solutions.


Key Responsibilities Include:

Integrated marketing campaigns & demand generation

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives, priority sectors and customer needs
  • Translate customer insight and market knowledge into engaging campaigns, content and experiences
  • Manage campaign planning, execution and optimisation across digital and offline channels
  • Drive demand generation activity through campaigns, content, events, email marketing and targeted outreach
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and use insights to improve performance and maximise impact

Events & customer engagement

  • Develop and manage marketing plans for exhibitions, conferences and industry events
  • Support pre-event, during-event and post-event activity to maximise engagement and commercial value
  • Work with Sales teams to ensure events support customer engagement and business priorities
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Viper's presence within priority markets

Digital marketing & marketing technology

  • Own and optimise key digital channels including website, SEO, paid activity and email marketing
  • Manage and improve Viper's CRM, automation tools and reporting processes
  • Build customer journeys that support awareness, engagement and progression through the sales funnel
  • Ensure marketing activity is tracked, measurable and continuously improved

Analytics & performance insight

  • Monitor marketing performance and demonstrate the impact of activity against business objectives
  • Develop reporting that provides insight into campaign performance, customer engagement and opportunities for improvement
  • Use data and insights to inform future marketing decisions and improve return on investment

Collaboration & commercial alignment

  • Work closely with Sales, Product and technical teams to bring Viper's expertise and customer solutions to market
  • Support sales enablement through campaigns, insights, materials and customer engagement activity
  • Manage external partners and suppliers where required

What We Are Looking For:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a suitable discipline and/or proven work experience in line with the skills or knowledge required for the role.
  • 6-10 years' marketing experience, ideally within B2B, technology, engineering, manufacturing or other complex, technical sectors.
  • Proven experience delivering B2B demand generation programmes that drive measurable pipeline growth.
  • Strong understanding of marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, marketing automation and analytics, with the ability to use data to improve performance and customer journeys.
  • Comfortable turning insight and customer understanding into clear, effective marketing activity and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working closely with Sales teams, with a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to pipeline and commercial outcomes.
