About REFYT
REFYT Ltd is a retrofit and green energy contractor based in Canary Wharf, East London. We improve the energy efficiency of homes through insulation, heat pumps, solar PV and ventilation, delivering Warm Homes and social housing schemes for local authorities, housing associations and energy companies across London, Essex and Kent.
The business is growing, with a strong pipeline of contracted work for 2027. As we scale, we want to build a brand that reflects the quality of our work and positions REFYT as a trusted, leading name in UK retrofit.
The Role
We are creating our first dedicated marketing role. Your two main priorities will be building the REFYT brand and creating the content that brings it to life. You will define who we are, what we stand for and how we are seen by clients, partners, residents and future employees, then produce a steady flow of high quality content that tells our story. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have the scope to shape the marketing function from the start.
Key Responsibilities
Brand strategy and identity
- Define REFYT's brand positioning, values, messaging and tone of voice
- Develop clear brand guidelines covering visual identity, language and presentation
- Ensure a consistent brand across the website, LinkedIn, vehicles, uniforms, site signage, documents and presentations
- Shape how REFYT is perceived in the market as we grow into new regions, clients and services
- Support employer branding so REFYT attracts the right people as the team grows

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
