Marketing Manager
ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow (hybrid)
Salary from £40,400 - £50,500 + excellent benefits
Full-time, permanent position (flexible working pattern)

The role holder will be responsible for managing, developing & implementing engaging content, communications, and direct marketing campaigns. They will support & develop innovative customer journeys throughout the exploration, consideration & purchase phases. The role requires rapid delivery and the ability to adapt to changing demands of a highly competitive market. It is a demanding and complex role which requires continual prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
In a rapidly changing customer business, this role will likely involve working across different segments within the ScottishPower customer portfolio, as required.
What you'll be doing
- Create and manage message, journey and creative testing with meaningful outputs and clearly defined next steps
- Deliver communications & supporting journeys to educate, inform and convert customers within exploration, consideration, nurture & purchase phases
- Work independently, with accountability to the marketing manager
- Prioritise and refocus your workload against the wider product & marketing roadmaps/stakeholder requirements
- Analyse and utilise customer insight to create direct marketing communications and digital advertising and web content to support wider strategy
- Complex problem solving for customer engagement and journeys
- Consider regulatory, legal and compliance within all content and communications being developed
- Adhere to brand guidelines
- Support on partnership marketing requirements as directed
What you'll bring
- Ability to evaluate creative effectiveness and deliver standout campaign assets that deliver standout and results
- Previous roles held in corporate environment would be an advantage
- Competence in campaign development and delivery
- Experience of working with marketing agencies, ability to develop compelling briefs & confidence to challenge deliveries
- Strong analytical & problem solving
- The ability to adapt to constant change and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Criteria
- Degree level educated or equivalent experience
- Previous roles held in a similar environment
- 3-5 years’ experience in marketing communication and/or digital marketing role
- Experience of working with marketing agencies
- B2C experience (preferably in utilities or similar regulated market)
