Marketing Manager
Location: London - St Katherines Dock
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid working
About the Role
The client is a growing service sector business and is seeking an experienced Marketing professional for a newly created role to support all marketing activity for the business. This is a hands-on role with one direct report.
Responsibilities
- Lead marketing working hands-on across CRM-driven campaigns, analytics, content, websites, social media, print, events, and press.
- Create short- and long-term marketing plans and campaigns, and drive them through to results.
- Use analytics to measure performance and adapt our activity accordingly.
- Develop lead generation and conversion activity that builds support for, and engagement with, our campaigns and initiatives.
Campaigns and Content
- Deliver integrated campaigns to member businesses using our Salesforce CRM and marketing platform, including regular newsletters, web content, and social media.
- Create engaging content, including video, for use across multiple channels.
- Brief and work with our external design agency on campaign materials and resources.
- Coordinate publications from initial brief through to print and distribution.

- Keep our online presence strong and consistent across all channels.
- Maintain and create content for two websites.
- Work with our hosting providers to keep both sites performance-optimised.
Press, Events, and Representation
- Manage press liaison and write media releases.
- Help coordinate and promote events programme as part of a cross-team group.
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows.
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Experience in a busy marketing team, ideally in a B2B or service environment.
- Strong digital marketing skills, including Google Analytics (or similar) and SEO.
- In-depth knowledge of social media, especially LinkedIn, including managing images, photography, and video for social and web.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop or similar image software, and of website content management systems.
- An understanding of CRM and e-marketing principles.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading, with experience developing content.
- Experience organising face-to-face events end to end, including managing budgets.
- An appreciation of why high-quality data matters.
- Confidence with Microsoft 365, including Teams or similar platforms.
Desirable
- Salesforce experience.
- Knowledge of print and production processes.
- A marketing qualification, or working towards one.
- Understanding of, or experience in, the construction or electrical sector – a real advantage.

What We Offer
- This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the CEO.
- Salary of £40,000–£50,000, depending on experience.
- Contributory pension, matched up to 6%.
