Interim Marketing & Change Manager

Location: West Scotland (On-site)
Contract Type: 12 month Fixed-Term Contract (with permanent potential)
Reports To: Commercial Director

About the Opportunity

An established, fast-growing global commercial organisation is seeking a hands-on, strategic Interim Marketing & Change Manager to take full ownership of the marketing function during an exciting period of expansion.

This is a dynamic, dual-focused role: you will lead day-to-day marketing activities—spanning content, digital presence, SEO, PR, and trade events—while simultaneously driving end-to-end project management and business-change initiatives across the organisation.

For the right candidate, this interim position offers a strong potential to transition into a permanent leadership role as the business and marketing function continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Delivery: Translate overall business goals into actionable marketing strategies; plan, execute, and report on performance across digital channels, PR, content, and industry events.
  • Project & Change Management: Act as the project lead for marketing and cross-functional improvement initiatives. Track milestones, clear blockers, chair project meetings, and embed new systems and processes across teams.
  • SEO & Digital Performance: Own organic search strategy, website content, and analytics to continuously enhance online visibility, user engagement, and performance metrics.
  • Content & Brand Management: Oversee brand voice across all touchpoints, producing and commissioning engaging content for product launches, key partnerships, and industry developments.
  • Events & PR: End-to-end management of trade show and event appearances—from logistics and budget control to on-site execution and post-event lead generation. Draft press releases and manage relationships with key industry media.
  • Commercial Alignment: Work closely with Commercial and Business Development teams to ensure all marketing outputs directly support ROI, sales pipelines, and business growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
