About the Company

Drive Impact in Rare Disease Marketing. Are you an experienced pharmaceutical marketer with a passion for delivering innovative customer engagement programmes and bringing complex projects to life? We are looking for a Manager, Enzyme Therapies Business Unit Marketing, PKU to support the execution of strategic marketing initiatives within a rare disease portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to work across international markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact programmes that support healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and advocacy communities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple stakeholders, and has a strong track record of turning strategy into successful execution.

About the Role

As a key member of the marketing team, you will lead and coordinate a range of initiatives across customer engagement, content development, brand operations, and commercial project delivery. You will work closely with colleagues across Medical Affairs, Compliance, Patient Affairs, Communications, Digital, Congress Management, affiliate marketing teams, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

  • Lead the planning and delivery of customer engagement activities, including congresses, advisory boards, and advocacy events.
  • Partner with cross-functional and international teams to develop impactful messaging and engagement strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and advocacy organisations.
  • Gather and leverage customer insights to support future marketing initiatives.

Content Development

  • Support the creation and adaptation of promotional and educational materials.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand objectives, customer needs, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of materials for healthcare professionals and patient communities.

Marketing Operations & Execution

  • Coordinate marketing activities across multiple channels and regions.
  • Manage project timelines, approvals, deployment plans, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with digital and commercial teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Project Management

  • Own project plans, budgets, milestones, and vendor relationships.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and recommend opportunities for optimisation.
  • Ensure activities are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and in line with agreed objectives.

Brand Support & Governance

  • Support brand planning activities, business reviews, governance processes, and cross-functional communications.
  • Maintain clear documentation, decision logs, and project updates.
  • Contribute to initiatives that support long-term brand growth and customer engagement.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Work closely with compliance and review teams to ensure all activities meet regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Anticipate potential risks and support mitigation planning throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate timely approvals and effective stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, commercial operations, or project management.
  • Success managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience working across international markets and teams.
  • Ability to manage budgets, vendors, timelines, and approval processes.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Scientific understanding and experience within healthcare or life sciences environments.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
