Reports To: Senior Director – International Marketing & Strategy


Key Responsibilities

  • Build ChargePoint’s European marketing presence from the ground up as the first dedicated European field marketer, collaborating closely with local sales teams to drive revenue and pipeline.
  • Own end-to-end campaign execution—from strategy through delivery, execution, and measurement of ROI—with no buy-in role.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Planning and executing Europe-wide field marketing programs, such as trade shows, customer events, roundtables, partner gatherings, and roadshows.
    • End-to-end management of regional webinars and digital events—defining topics, coordinating speakers, launching campaigns, and following up with attendees.
    • Directly integrating marketing efforts alongside the European sales team to advance account-level opportunities and speed up deals.
    • Localizing and adapting global campaigns, content, and messaging for European markets using AI tools to maximise scalability and efficiency.
    • Building, managing, and optimising regional email campaigns, landing pages, and nurture programs in close collaboration with demand generation.
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with local event organisers, media contacts, and agency partners.
    • Overseeing the European marketing calendar, aligning with global teams on campaigns, launches, and announcements.
    • Tracking and reporting on campaign performance, event ROI, and pipeline contribution to demonstrate tangible impact and drive further investment.

What We’re Looking For

This is a role for a hands-on marketing leader with a deep appreciation for execution. Success requires:

  • Proven B2B field marketing experience in European markets, including hands-on ownership of events, vendors, and campaigns.
  • Fluency in English plus strong working knowledge of at least one other major European language (e.g., German, French).
  • Ability to thrive as a ** lone marketer in a startup environment**, with self-direction, resourcefulness, and strong initiative.
  • A collaborative mindset that empowers close alignment with sales teams, offering a clear understanding of the pivotal marketing-to-revenue linkage.
  • Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple campaigns across diverse regions and stakeholders.
  • Readiness to travel regularly across Europe to support field marketing activities.
  • A builder’s mindset and passion for creating scalable marketing processes, programmes, and ultimately growing the regional team.

Essential Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in executing multi-market marketing campaigns across Europe.
  • Demonstrated capability to partner with sales to drive pipeline, secure conversions, and generate measurable business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in using AI-driven marketing tools (e.g., content automation, AI-powered translation, campaign analytics, event logistics).
  • Background in full-cycle campaign management, including events, webinars, emails, and digital engagement.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate efficiently across time zones and international stakeholders.
  • Capacity to operate effectively in a high-growth startup-like environment amid evolving, fast-paced processes.
