Description
🚀 Help Us Deliver Brilliant Events
Events are an important part of how Sensat meets new customers and creates commercial opportunities. We have a busy calendar ahead, so we’re looking for an organised, hands-on Events Manager who can come in quickly and help us deliver it.
You’ll support events across the UK and US, working closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to make sure everything runs smoothly before, during and after each event.
🛠️ What you'll be doing
- Planning and coordinating our upcoming events from start to finish.
- Managing venues, suppliers, travel, schedules, materials and all the other details that make an event happen.
- Working with Marketing on event messaging, content and promotion.
- Making sure the Sensat team is fully briefed and knows what they’re doing on the day.
- Attending events and keeping everything running smoothly.
- Organising event leads and helping Sales follow up quickly.
- Tracking results and capturing what worked, what didn’t and what we should do differently next time.
💭 You might be the kind of person we’re looking for if...
You’re organised, practical and good at keeping several things moving at once.
You enjoy getting stuck in, solving problems and making sure the details are covered. You’re confident working with different teams and suppliers, and you don’t need lots of direction to keep things progressing.
🎯 What you’ll bring
- Experience helping to plan and deliver business events.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence managing suppliers, timelines and changing priorities.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
- An understanding of how events can support Marketing and Sales.
- Experience within B2B, SaaS or technology.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
