Our Opportunity

Work Location: The Fortescue Building, The Boulevard, Kidlington OX5 1GB
Work Type: full time

Fortescue Zero is a global technology and engineering business with capability across electrification, battery intelligence, advanced engineering, motorsport, wind, solar, and emerging applications. Our challenge is not capability. It is ensuring customers, partners and markets understand what we can do and turning that understanding into brand growth, customer demand and commercial opportunity.

This is a broad, high-impact role spanning brand, B2B product marketing, sales enablement, content, partnerships, motorsport, events, and customer engagement. We are looking for someone who combines highly creative thinking with strong commercial judgement, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to turn ideas into measurable business outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will own the global marketing strategy and delivery for Fortescue Zero.

You will set the creative direction, establish clear priorities, and bring the full marketing programme together through one connected plan. Working closely with Fortescue Zero’s leadership, commercial, product, sales, and engineering teams, you will translate complex technical capability into clear propositions, compelling stories, and customer-led marketing activity.

A key part of the role will be building and leading an agile in-house marketing model. You will mobilise Fortescue’s internal creative, content, digital, social, media, and communications capability to deliver quickly and to a high standard. External agencies will be used selectively where specialist expertise adds value, with ownership of the marketing direction and delivery remaining within Fortescue.

You will also work closely with Fortescue’s Global Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to draw on central creative, digital, media, social, and communications capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Fortescue Zero global marketing plan, priorities, investment, governance, and performance reporting.
  • Translate commercial and customer objectives across the portfolio into integrated marketing plans that build awareness, credibility, demand, and revenue opportunity.
  • Set the creative direction and quality standard for Fortescue Zero marketing activity.
  • Build and lead an agile in-house marketing model across creative, content, digital, social, media, and communications.
  • Lead the Fortescue Zero brand plan, ensuring product brands strengthen the broader portfolio and align with the Fortescue master brand.
  • Partner with product, commercial, sales, and engineering leaders to develop positioning, propositions, go-to-market plans, and sales enablement.
  • Turn complex engineering, technology, and product capability into clear customer stories, content, and proof points.
  • Lead the activation of motorsport, strategic partnerships, and sponsorships to deliver brand and commercial value.
  • Oversee major events, industry conferences, customer experiences, VIP hospitality, and flagship activations.
  • Work closely with sales and commercial teams to support customer engagement, opportunity development, and growth.
  • Coordinate internal Fortescue resources and specialist agencies through clear briefs, strong prioritisation, and clear accountability for delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and create alignment across leadership, product, commercial, sales, engineering, and corporate teams.
  • Own the marketing budget and establish clear measures of brand, customer, and commercial impact.
  • Bring recommendations and solutions, create momentum through ambiguity, and adjust priorities quickly as business needs change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
