The Role

FT Academy is the Financial Times’ learning business, dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations through world-class professional learning experiences.

Combining the FT’s trusted journalism, expert faculty, and practical learning design, FT Academy helps professionals build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead in an increasingly complex world. Its portfolio includes executive education programmes, professional development courses, board education, and educational resources for schools, serving learners at every stage of their leadership journey.

As the business continues to grow, FT Academy is bringing its learning products together under a more connected proposition, creating a stronger experience for customers while maintaining the quality and expertise for which the Financial Times is known.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, FT Academy, the Marketing Manager will plan, deliver, and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across the FT Academy portfolio. This includes the FT Board Director Programme and its flagship NED Diploma, a key contributor to the portfolio’s commercial success.

This is a broad, hands-on role combining campaign delivery, product marketing, and marketing operations. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Operations, Brand & Design, and the wider FT, you will help drive awareness, lead generation, enrolment, and customer engagement across executive education and professional development programmes.

You will also manage the systems, processes, and data that underpin FT Academy’s marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently, customer data is managed accurately and compliantly, and performance is continually improved through insight, testing, and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across the FT Academy portfolio, including flagship programmes such as the NED Diploma.
  • Deliver multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, social media, and internal FT channels.
  • Support programme launches and commercial initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, enrolment, and retention.
  • Partner with Commercial and Operations colleagues to align marketing activity with revenue and enrolment objectives.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure activity is delivered effectively and on schedule.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
