At Starbucks
Our mission is to be the premier purveyor of the finest coffee in the world, inspiring and nurturing the human spirit - one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time. Our role In Channel Development is to deliver on that mission and to amplify the power and reach of the brand outside of our coffeehouses.
Through The Global Coffee Alliance (GCA), formed between Starbucks and Nestlé in 2018, our companies have partnered together to successfully introduce Starbucks At-Home Coffee (AHC) products to consumers across a variety of platforms (such as Nespresso, NDG, Roast & Ground, Whole bean & Instant), globally.
This role contributes to Starbucks' success by supporting the GCA in growing and expanding the Starbucks brand with consumers around the world. The marketing manager leads the development and execution of key brand, communications and growth initiatives that support both brand equity and commercial performance. The role also drives strategic priorities, strengthens marketing capabilities, and establishes best-in-class processes to enable consistent, elevated execution across global markets.
Given the partnership structure, this role involves extensive collaboration, influencing and building the relationship with Nestle, as well as synchronizing strategies and plans across the Starbucks enterprise, enabling globalization where relevant.
Here, You'll Contribute To Our Shared Success By
- Leading the development and execution of global marketing and communications strategies across the Starbucks At Home portfolio, in partnership with Nestlé.
- Shaping annual communications plans and driving brand growth initiatives that deliver both commercial performance and long-term brand equity.
- Developing impactful marketing campaigns across international markets, including brand communications, shopper marketing, partnerships, digital content and internal engagement.
- Supporting the expansion of direct-to-consumer capabilities through CRM programmes, visibility tools, and online and offline customer experiences.
- Acting as a key advocate for international markets, ensuring consumer and partner needs are represented within the Global Coffee Alliance.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams across Starbucks and Nestlé to align business priorities and drive a consistent One Brand approach globally.
- Championing Starbucks brand standards and ensuring excellence across creative execution, innovation, packaging and consumer communications.
- Building trusted relationships with stakeholders across regions, functions and cultures to influence decision-making and deliver shared goals.
- Developing and implementing new ways of working, processes and frameworks that enable efficient, scalable execution across global markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
