About The Role

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is an established high street, community focused optical and hearing retailers. We are looking for a motivated, highly organised retail focused marketeer to support the growth of our 165+ branch network and deliver business KPIs.

This is a multi-channel role with key focus on CRM, POS and Digital campaigns but the remit extends across all elements of the marketing mix.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to meet the marketing objectives through the development and implementation of effective marketing plans. You will need to be hands on, manage both internal and external stakeholders, and possess strong communication skills.

This is a full-time role, based in our head office in Birmingham, with some travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to support the overall marketing strategy in relation to KPIs
  • Ensure appropriate systems for measuring marketing activity are in place and report to key stakeholders
  • Identify and recommend new activity which can be trialled and ultimately implemented to develop the business
  • Contribute to the development of the marketing strategy through learnings and recommendation
  • Work with Head of Marketing to strengthen marketing’s retail and customer centric approach
  • Be a guardian of the brand and ensure compliance across the business
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management of a number of external agencies including digital, design and print
  • To develop and manage an effective and efficient marketing executive

What We Are Looking For

You will be an experienced marketeer (3+ years experience), used to working in a fast-paced marketing environment, ideally B2C, who is looking for their next challenge. We need someone who is organised, able to meet deadlines and plan campaigns across multiple channels. Experience of managing a direct report would be ideal. You will need to be confident to liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally while delivering and analysing campaigns to a high standard.

A passion for community and local story telling alongside experience of developing PR and digital campaigns that deliver results would be ideal.

This role would be perfect for someone looking to take their first move into a management role or looking to move into a creative, fast paced retail marketing role.
