Marketing Manager
We're looking for an experienced, proactive and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join RADIX at our Dundee HQ and take genuine ownership of our marketing function.
RADIX already has talented people in place. Thomas leads our content creation and video production. Karen, our Business Support & Growth Executive, is active across marketing coordination. Our Sales & Client Relationship team bring strong commercial insight from the front line. What we need now is someone to bring it all together - a marketing leader who can take the day-to-day off the Managing Director's desk, set a clear direction, and personally get things done.
This is not a role for someone who briefs agencies and waits for results. We need a hands-on marketing professional who thrives on ownership, works proactively without being managed, and is equally comfortable setting the strategy and personally building the assets to deliver it.
If you're a marketing all-rounder who wants to lead, not just support, this is your opportunity to make a real mark on a globally recognised business.
What You Will Be Doing:
You'll take ownership of the RADIX marketing function - leading day-to-day activity, coordinating the wider team's contribution to marketing, and personally executing where needed.
In practice, this means:
Leading & Coordinating
- Taking ownership of the marketing calendar and plan - managing priorities, deadlines, and output across the team
- Coordinating with Thomas (Content Creator/Videographer) to brief, direct and schedule creative asset production
- Working closely with Karen (Business Support & Growth) to align marketing activity with wider business operations
- Collaborating with Cerys and Christine (Sales & Client Relations) to ensure marketing supports pipeline, reflects customer insight, and amplifies commercial activity
- Collaborating with external suppliers as required, supporting our overall growth strategy
- Reporting on marketing performance to senior leadership and making clear, data-led recommendations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For:
The right person will be a proven marketing generalist who is equally confident leading the plan and personally building the assets. We're looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of experience in a hands-on, all-round marketing role, ideally as the lead or sole marketer in a business
- Is proven at owning the full marketing mix - strategy, content creation, digital, and reporting, without relying on a team to delegate to
- Can naturally take initiative and drive marketing activity forward without needing day-to-day direction
- Is skilled in creating visual assets (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
- Is confident with digital marketing tools: Google Analytics, SEO best practices, social scheduling platforms, and email marketing software
- Is an excellent copywriter - clear, engaging, and adaptable across formats and audiences
- Has strong interpersonal skills - able to brief, coordinate and get the best from colleagues and suppliers
- Has experience in B2B marketing, construction, engineering, or a technical product sector (advantageous but not essential)
CIM qualification or equivalent is welcomed but not required. We prioritise demonstrable results and a track record of ownership over credentials.
