Marketing Manager - Sporting Exhibitions
Guildford - Hybrid
£45k + Bonus
About the Company
Ark is recruiting for a leading international events organisation, delivering an exciting portfolio of large-scale sporting exhibitions and consumer events across the UK and internationally.
They’re now seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for a new portfolio of B2C sporting exhibitions in the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded marketing professional to take ownership of campaigns that build awareness, grow audiences, and ultimately drive attendance across multiple events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the marketing strategy across a portfolio of B2C sporting exhibitions.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered effectively.
- Drive data growth and audience development across the events.
- Manage and support junior members of the marketing team and external agencies.
- Develop and maintain partnerships to support event marketing and audience growth.
- Develop and manage event ambassador programmes.
- Develop and deliver PR strategies around each event.
- Deliver exhibitor marketing campaigns to support event partners.
- Develop and manage both digital and traditional advertising campaigns.
- Manage social media campaigns and e-marketing communications.
- Oversee website content and maintenance alongside the wider team.
- Work closely with Event Managers and Event Directors to shape communications and maximise event attendance.
- Manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and targets across the event portfolio.

About You
We’re looking for a creative, organised, and proactive marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced events environment. You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience across marketing and events.
- Proven experience developing and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and junior team members.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and commercially aware approach.
- Experience marketing within the Middle East would be highly desirable.
- An interest in any sport, fitness, running, or the outdoors would be a bonus.
