The Role – Marketing Manager
Underwriting Collective, the delegated authority underwriting (MGA) division of PIB Group, providing specialist products distributed through brokers, partners, and direct to customers. The portfolio comprises a range of niche and specialist propositions, supported by strong underwriting expertise.
The Marketing Manager will primarily support Balens Insurance and the Jigsaw consumer brands: 4Paws and Rescue my Car, while also contributing to wider retail marketing activity where needed. Operating across a portfolio of brands, you will develop and execute acquisition, customer, and partner-led marketing plans, with support from the wider marketing team. A key part of the role is building and nurturing strong relationships with brand stakeholders, partners, and affiliates to drive joint marketing initiatives and deliver growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with commercial and operational stakeholders to drive growth in new business and improvement in retention for the group.
- Create and execute cohesive marketing campaigns across the portfolio of brands and multiple channels, including digital, social media, content, and events.
- Take end-to-end ownership of key campaigns and events: strategy, planning, execution, and post-campaign/event analysis.
- Work closely with affiliates and partner communities to build strong relationships and deliver joint marketing activity that drives lead volumes and increases brand awareness.
- Support the delivery of long-term marketing goals, including major event planning, ensuring activities align with overall business and brand objectives.
- Monitor and measure campaign performance and provide clear, data-led insights and recommendations to shape future activity.
- Line manage one direct report, providing clear objectives, coaching, and support.

What We’re Looking For
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in marketing, or related field; Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Proven experience creating and executing campaigns across the full marketing mix (on- and offline).
- Understanding of CRM and customer data platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital analytics (e.g., GA4) and tagging.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Customer-centered mindset with a passion for improving customer journeys.
