EAO AG is a Swiss family-owned business founded in 1947 and a global leader in industrial switches, HMI solutions, interface systems and automotive switch technology. With over 600 employees and operations across Europe, North America and Asia, EAO serves customers in more than 50 countries. EAO Ltd, based in Burgess Hill, supports the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets and is also responsible for the sales and marketing of Sanyo Denki and Highland premium thermal and motion control products.

The Role.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to lead marketing activities across the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets. Reporting within the management team, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive lead generation, support sales growth, strengthen brand awareness and identify new market opportunities. This role combines strategic marketing, product management, digital marketing and team leadership within an international organisation.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to drive lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Manage and analyse the lead generation pipeline and marketing performance.
  • Support product launches and communicate new product developments to customers and the sales team.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Plan and manage exhibitions, trade shows and promotional events.
  • Develop digital marketing activities including LinkedIn, webinars and other online channels.
  • Manage marketing materials, website content and brand communications.
  • Support the product innovation roadmap through market and customer insight.
  • Maintain customer and distributor pricing structures and price lists.
  • Provide product marketing support, training and technical guidance where required.
  • Ensure compliance with EAO Group corporate identity and communication standards.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Marketing Team.
  • Manage the Highland brand portfolio for fans, motors and accessories.

About You.

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related discipline, and/or a relevant technical qualification.
  • Proven marketing management experience within a technical, industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in lead generation, product marketing and digital marketing.
  • Experience managing exhibitions, product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Sales management experience would be very useful.
  • Excellent communication, project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify market opportunities and create compelling value propositions.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Additional Information.

  • Located within commuting distance of Burgess Hill would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Occasional overseas travel to EAO headquarters in Switzerland and other EAO locations may be required.
