In this role

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our brand's voice, responsible for planning, managing, and executing high-impact marketing campaigns. You will utilise a diverse mix of Above-the-Line channels including TV, Print, Audio, OOH, Social, Display, and Partnerships to effectively deliver our key brand messages to customers. You will deliver multiple seasonal, brand, and promotional campaigns while ensuring they are delivered consistently on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Line management of a campaign specialist and advisors to ensure delivery of brand communication to deadlines, channels requirements and budget.
  • Ensuring clarity and accuracy of multi-channel messaging within communications and meeting creative and media objectives of the activity.
  • Managing a multi million pound production and media budget and ensuring compliance with financial governance.
  • Building effective relationships with key internal stakeholders coaching and managing both internal colleagues and external suppliers and agencies (Media & Creative).
  • Strong media knowledge and experience needed (reviewing & booking media plans alongside understanding and interpreting evolving media landscape).
  • Creative adherence to templates, guidelines and brand tone of voice, ensuring messages are applied consistently and best in class.
  • Role model and embody leadership and inclusive behaviours, shaping great culture and fostering great decision making and feedback.
  • Ability to provide succinct, clear and actionable feedback to agencies and wider colleagues.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder - with the ability to collaborate with other teams and channels on messages/creative and asset requirements and consistency.
  • Ability to plan, respond and flex communications against a dynamic trading culture.
  • Continual awareness of competitor activity to ensure understanding of the market and ability to make recommendations about content.
  • Working closely with compliance to ensure that all communication is legal and factual. (e.g., Less Healthy Foods, Unit Equivalent Pricing).

About You

Technical Skills

  • Strong Understanding of Google Suite & Microsoft Office.
  • Technical understanding of media channels and production processes.
  • Knowledge understanding of Clearcast, RACC, ASA and legal/compliance requirements.
  • Critical path management and brief writing skills.

  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes.

  • A passion and hunger for creative and media.

Experience

  • Experience of managing marketing or communications in a commercially driven environment, preferably retail or other well known customer facing brands.
  • Preferably experience working with food photography and food styling.
