Job Description
About IG Group
IG Group (LSE: IGG) is a FTSE 100 fintech operating across 18 countries and five continents, serving over 1.3 million clients and handling billions of dollars in transactions every day. We have been at the forefront of online trading since 1974, and we did not get here by standing still. Under CEO Breon Corcoran, IG is in the middle of one of its most significant transformation programmes: sharpening our product, embedding a high-performance culture, and building the operational scalability to support ambitious global growth. IG Consumer is the engine of IG Group’s client-facing business, a globally distributed organisation of around 1,100 people spanning the UK, Europe, and APAC, operating under a newly appointed CEO and a leadership team that is actively reshaping how the business works.
About the Role
IG is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Brand Marketing team, owning campaign delivery across the full marketing mix, with media as your core area of depth. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of a market outside the UK (currently this is Ireland) – from strategy through to execution – and flex to support campaign delivery and testing in other non-UK regions as priorities require.
This is a broad, hands-on marketing management role. You’ll need to be commercially fluent across the full campaign mix – while bringing genuine depth in paid media planning, which will be your lead area of specialism within the team. If you’re a well-rounded marketing manager with strong media expertise, comfortable owning a market independently, and energised by variety, this is a strong next step.
About the Team
This role sits within the UK Brand Marketing team, reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager. The team is responsible for IG’s brand identity, major campaigns, and media strategy across the UK, working closely with in-house Studio, external creative agencies, and a media agency on day-to-day delivery.
There are no direct reports in this role; your impact comes through the breadth of your campaign management, the depth of your media expertise, the initiatives you drive in your market and other regions, and the relationships you build across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Responsibilities
Media management
- Own campaign delivery end-to-end across the full marketing mix, with media as your area of deepest specialism – making sure every channel is working together toward the same brief, and that our media agency is held to the sharpest scrutiny.
- Marketing mix literacy – understand how each channel contributes to campaign performance, and make trade-off calls across channels – not just within media – as plans develop.
- Media strategy, planning & agency management – as your area of deepest expertise, own the briefing and interrogation of media plans across ATL and TTL channels, and know how to get the best out of our media agency, driving forward performance, effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Media mix modelling & full-funnel optimisation – work with MMM and econometric outputs to identify what’s actually driving performance, balancing brand-building activity with lower-funnel media, and translating findings into changes in future plans.
- Cross-functional coordination – act as the connective layer across Brand, Performance, Social & Content, PR and CRM, so that campaigns land as one joined-up plan.
- Reporting, measurement & test-and-learn – contribute to campaign reporting with clear, actionable insight across the full mix, and keep a live view of new formats and channel innovation to build a case for testing where it could improve performance or efficiency.
Campaign management
- Bring strong all-round campaign marketing management skills, applying them across UK and international activity – including ownership of a defined market outside the UK (currently Ireland), with scope to extend support into other regions as needed.
- Plan, adapt and deliver marketing campaigns end-to-end, tailoring messaging, assets and channel approach to different audiences, markets and objectives.
- Own end-to-end marketing activity for a defined market outside the UK (currently Ireland), developing and delivering plans that are tailored to local needs while remaining consistent with IG’s overall brand positioning.
- Adapt UK campaign assets and messaging for other markets as needed, ensuring relevance and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Stay close to the competitive and regulatory landscape across the markets you support, identifying opportunities to strengthen IG’s brand presence.
- Extend campaign support to other non-UK regions as required, including adapting assets, briefing local partners, and running test-and-learn activity.
- Share learnings across markets and campaigns, feeding insight back into broader planning.

- Be a trusted, credible voice with our media agency – someone whose challenge on a plan or RTB is taken seriously because it’s well-reasoned and grounded in the brief.
- Be seen as a well-rounded campaign owner – as comfortable in creative and content conversations as you are holding the media agency to account.
- Be contributing insight that visibly changes how we plan – not just reporting on what happened, but shaping what happens next.
Role Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in brand or integrated marketing role, ideally within a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Proven experience supporting or delivering campaigns end-to-end, with solid paid media management experience, including agency management.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities that drive brand and business performance.

- Understanding of, or experience in, investing, trading, cryptocurrency, or fintech.
