Role Overview
As Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in delivering MTI’s marketing strategy and annual marketing plan. Working within a lean, hands-on Marketing team, this is a varied role requiring someone who is equally comfortable managing campaigns and projects as they are getting involved in their day-to-day execution.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will help translate marketing strategy into high-quality campaigns and activity across partner marketing, digital, content, events, and demand generation. You will take responsibility for coordinating campaigns from brief through to delivery and measurement, working within agreed budgets and strategic direction.
A key part of the role will be working with MTI’s technology partners, managing day-to-day partner marketing activity and MDF processes, alongside collaborating closely with Sales, Alliances, and Pre-Sales to ensure marketing activity supports wider commercial objectives.
This role would suit an experienced B2B technology marketer who enjoys both the thinking behind a campaign and the hands-on work required to bring it to life.
Main Duties
- Deliver integrated marketing campaigns in line with the strategy, priorities, and objectives set by the Head of Marketing, coordinating activity from brief through to execution and measurement.
- Manage campaign timelines, stakeholders, suppliers, and allocated budgets, ensuring activity is delivered effectively, on time, and within budget.
- Work closely with technology partners to coordinate joint marketing activity, manage MDF processes and claims, and ensure partner funding requirements are met.
- Create high-quality marketing and campaign assets in-house using Canva and other design tools, including digital and social assets, event collateral, presentations, and sales materials, ensuring a consistently strong and professional brand identity.
- Create and coordinate engaging content across thought leadership, customer case studies, social media, email, website, and sales collateral.
- Manage and optimise MTI’s digital marketing channels, including the website, SEO, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation, supporting brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Work alongside the Head of Marketing to plan and deliver customer events, roundtables, conferences, webinars, and partner activities, taking responsibility for the coordination and execution of agreed activity.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Alliances, Pre-Sales, and other internal stakeholders to understand commercial priorities and translate these into effective marketing activity.
- Manage marketing data, audience segmentation, and lead processes, ensuring campaign data is accurate and leads are effectively captured, tracked, and communicated to Sales.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, lead generation, pipeline influence, and ROI, providing insights to support ongoing optimisation and reporting.
- Coordinate external agencies and suppliers where required, while maintaining a strong in-house approach to content and creative production.
- Identify and coordinate customer case studies, award submissions, PR opportunities, and other initiatives that strengthen MTI’s market presence.
- Support the operational requirements of the Marketing function, including purchase orders, supplier administration, campaign trackers, and MDF claims.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
