About Serage UK

Serage UK is a security manufacturer providing professional security products to the UK market. We are looking for an experienced, creative and highly hands-on Marketing Manager to take ownership of the Serage brand and help drive the next stage of our growth.

As a growing business, we are not looking for someone who simply creates marketing strategies and delegates the work to a large team. We need someone who can develop the ideas, build the plan and execute them. You will work closely with our team to increase brand awareness, generate demand, support our customers and ultimately drive sales growth.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and delivering the marketing strategy for Serage UK. This is a broad, hands-on position. One day you may be planning a new product launch or installer campaign, and the next you could be designing promotional material, creating social media content, updating the website or preparing an email campaign. We want someone who can look at where the brand is today, identify opportunities for growth and then take responsibility for making those ideas happen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for Serage UK.
  • Create marketing campaigns focused on increasing brand awareness, enquiries and sales.
  • Plan and manage new product launches.
  • Develop campaigns aimed at security installers, integrators, distributors and other B2B customers.
  • Create promotional materials including brochures, flyers, product graphics, adverts and digital content.
  • Manage and grow the brand's social media presence.
  • Plan, create and manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Produce engaging content around products, technologies and solutions.
  • Work with the sales team to create campaigns that generate leads and support revenue growth.
  • Help improve the Serage website, product presentation and online customer journey.
  • Develop promotions and campaigns for existing customers while also helping attract new customers.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all marketing channels.
  • Track campaign performance and identify what is producing measurable results.
  • Research competitors and identify opportunities for Serage to differentiate itself in the UK security market.
  • Support exhibitions, trade shows, customer events and product demonstrations.
  • Manage external designers, agencies, printers or other suppliers when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Hands-On Creative Skills

Because we are a growing business, this role requires someone who is comfortable doing the work as well as planning it. You should have experience using design and marketing software and be capable of producing professional marketing materials.

Experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva or similar design software would be highly beneficial. Experience with website CMS platforms, email marketing software, social media management tools and digital advertising platforms would also be valuable. Video editing and creating short-form product or promotional content would be an advantage.

Who We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have previous B2B marketing experience within the security industry, particularly CCTV, video surveillance, access control, intruder alarms, fire or related electronic security products.

You should understand how to market technical products to distributors and professional installers.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Creative and full of ideas.
  • Commercially minded and focused on growth.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects.
  • Able to turn an idea into a finished campaign.
  • Strong at graphic design and visual presentation.
  • Confident creating both written and visual content.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a smaller, fast-moving business.
  • Able to work closely with sales and management.
  • Proactive rather than waiting to be given individual marketing tasks.

What Success Looks Like

The objective of this role is simple: grow the Serage brand and help grow the business.

We want the Marketing Manager to develop a stronger presence for Serage within the UK security industry, increase engagement with installers and customers, generate more opportunities for the sales team and establish a consistent pipeline of effective marketing activity.

This is an opportunity for someone to have genuine ownership of a growing security brand and see the direct impact of their work.
