DIVISION PROFILE
NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International Television division is responsible for the distribution of NBCU’s film and TV product to television and new media customers in all markets outside North America. Within International Television, the International Digital Distribution team has specific responsibility for growing distribution in these markets, including managing ongoing customer relationships to maximize revenue.

OVERVIEW
The UPHE International Marketing team is responsible for the planning and execution of multi-territory media campaigns to support the sale of digital product throughout a film’s life cycle including Premium Windows, VOD, and EST.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the consumer marketing activities for NBCUniversal’s filmed entertainment product through consumer-facing marketing and supporting B2B efforts with local clients within their market(s).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brief and oversee multi-territory media plan and work collaboratively with local teams (if required) to ensure campaigns are nuanced and tailored for markets.
- Manage local clients across a portfolio of territories: presenting upcoming titles, collaborating on in-market support, creating opportunities for Universal title promotion, and approve marketing materials developed by licensees.
- Support transactional market growth with a focus on Latin America and European markets.
- Represent Universal on any industry bodies and trade-wide initiatives within the managed territories.
- In tandem with creative and brand teams in Los Angeles HQ, develop, localize, and seek approval for campaign creative as required by media plan.
- Align Marketing and Account management to define strategic opportunities and priorities for titles and key account support.
- Work collaboratively across business units, e.g., Theatrical, consumer products, physical licensees, and brand / franchise teams to maximize lifecycle opportunities of managed titles.
- Collaborate with Social/Influencer leads to determine whether budget permits activation.
- Assist in the briefing of PR campaigns to agencies as required.
- Align with Trade Marketing across key local and multi-territory customers and work closely with Creative Services for delivery.
- Monitor campaign results closely and carefully manage media agency to deliver in-line with plan.
- Deliver campaign post-campaign wrap-up and contribute to filmmaker presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Language skills highly desirable – specifically Spanish (inc. Latin American Spanish), or Portuguese.
- Familiarity and interest in the business of entertainment and, specifically, digital media and content distribution.
- Experience marketing and leading product releases across multiple geos.
- Previous experience at a studio, label, or digital platform.
- Previous experience in media, marketing account management, or business development - preferably with an analytic focus.
- Strong commercial acumen, proven track record of driving revenue.
- Excellent written/oral communication, coordination skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Experience in building and maintaining key multi-territory customer relationships.
- Ability to handle short deadlines/turnarounds and multiple competing priorities.
- Flexibility of working hours (interaction with teams in the UK, USA, and Asia).
