Freelance / Part-Time Marketing Manager
Sandwood Events | London | 2 Days Per Week
About us
We are an established, high-end luxury, boutique events company based in London, with over seven years of experience creating exceptional events for our clients.
We are a small, close-knit and ambitious team of around eight people, and we are now looking for an experienced Marketing Manager / Marketing Consultant to join us on a freelance or part-time basis as we continue to grow.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves luxury, events, beautiful brands and creative storytelling and who wants to have a genuine influence on the direction and growth of a business.
The role
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our marketing and help us elevate the business to the next level.
This isn’t simply a social media role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about our brand, identify opportunities and create a clear, considered marketing approach that reflects the quality and positioning of our work.
You will work closely with the team to develop and implement our marketing strategy, increase brand awareness and ultimately help generate high-quality enquiries and new business.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Developing and implementing an overall marketing strategy
- Reviewing our existing marketing activity and identifying opportunities for growth
- Strengthening our luxury brand positioning and ensuring consistency across all channels
- Creating and managing a content and social media strategy
- Working with the team to capture and showcase our events, projects and work
- Identifying opportunities for PR, partnerships, collaborations and industry exposure
- Developing relationships with relevant luxury, lifestyle, and events brands
- Supporting email marketing and client communications
- Improving our website and digital presence
- Monitoring marketing performance and providing insight into what is working
- Keeping up to date with relevant luxury, events and marketing trends
- Bringing fresh ideas, creativity and energy to the business

About you
We are looking for someone who is strategic, creative and enjoys working closely with a team.
You’ll ideally have experience working within luxury, events, hospitality, fashion, lifestyle or another premium consumer brand, and understand what it takes to communicate a high-end proposition.
We’re particularly interested in someone who:
- Has proven marketing experience, ideally at manager or consultant level
- Understands luxury branding and positioning
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has a strong eye for visual content and detail
- Understands social media but isn’t solely focused on it
- Can think strategically as well as execute ideas
- Is proactive and comfortable working independently
- Has a strong commercial instinct and understands the importance of generating business
- Is collaborative and enjoys working as part of a small team
- Has a genuine interest in luxury events and the world surrounding them
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who will get under the skin of our business, understand our personality and ambitions, and help us build the next chapter of the brand.
Working arrangement
This is a freelance / part-time position of approximately 2 days per week, with flexibility around how those days are structured.

We are based in London and would ideally love for you to spend at least one day per week working from our office, getting to know the team, our clients and the business. Especially at the start of the role. We have lovely offices based in Clapham Old Town with a fabulous team. The atmosphere in the office is always brilliant.
The role could suit an experienced freelance Marketing Manager, Marketing Consultant or someone looking for a flexible part-time position.
Day rate / salary: Dependent on experience.
