Job Title: Marketing Manager

AD Energy is proudly collaborating with a worldwide leader in energy technology to recruit a Marketing Manager. Our Client’s global reach and innovative culture has ensured them great and continued success. The organization continues to be recognized for their engineering excellence and first-class client services and solutions to the global energy market.

The candidate of interest must be based in the UK.

The ultimate responsibility of this position is to coordinate and manage all marketing efforts and strategies (B2B/ B2B2C) in the UK. You will become an essential and valuable senior member of an extremely creative and diligent European Marketing Team, working in a fast-paced environment to formulate, deliver, and maintain marketing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report all relevant marketing plans and strategies to the Marketing Director
  • Create and execute an exceptional marketing strategy for the region both short term and long term
  • Obtain and collate valuable market insights from all clients: distributors, installers, and end customers
  • Translate market insight into important suggestions and actions to grow market share and compete with competitors via marketing activities
  • Ensure that you are fully knowledgeable of the company’s product portfolio and services, understand the reason for offering these technologies and solutions
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns to generate leads and grow revenues
  • Devise a content plan, working closely with marketing team to generate newsletters, case studies, articles, testimonials, sales presentations, etc.
  • Execute advertising and media planning
  • Develop local web and social media content
  • Coordinate attendance and marketing resources for industry events
  • Ensuring that all marketing is aligned to the brand and corporate organization guidelines
  • Engage in Sales Support activities to help commercial operations
  • Manage the marketing budget for the region
  • Organise customer training, seminar programs and webinars, alongside technical support teams
  • Organise and collaborate with colleagues on the production of artwork and marketing materials
  • Contribute to special marketing projects in Europe
  • Be a brand advocate of the business and products

  • Essential to speak professional level English
  • Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical and innovative marketing within the Energy and Hi-Tech industry sector. Alternatively, working in a similar sector that operates via wholesalers would be an advantage
  • Experience with and knowledge of marketing within a B2B or B2B2C environment
  • Has in the past worked within an international orientated business
  • Have a strategic and creative approach, drive to push boundaries
  • Proven management and leadership skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills for client and team liaison but also presenting
  • Show detailed organisation skills, and ability to work with heavy workloads
  • Able to operate independently and collaborate effectively cross-function and locations
  • Attention to detail and analytical
