Marketing Manager
You're our Marketing Manager. You'll work alongside the Director of Marketing across everything we do to market the Velstar brand, from hero campaigns, events, and awards to our website, social, search, and email. It's a broad role with real variety and a chance to shape how we show up in the market.
As a two-person team you share responsibilities rather than silo them. You bring particular expertise in HubSpot and lead nurturing, helping turn great marketing into pipeline, and you play a big part in planning and delivering our events.
You own your projects from brief to results with support from across the agency. We're looking for someone who thinks commercially, takes ownership, and is ready to put in the work.
What Your Role Looks Like
CRM and Pipeline
- Own HubSpot, including data quality, lifecycle stages, lists, lead scoring, and campaign tracking.
- Build and improve nurture journeys, email flows, and newsletters that turn contacts into sales conversations.
- Agree the handover of marketing qualified leads with Sales, ensuring warm leads are followed up quickly.
- Report on pipeline and revenue generated or influenced by marketing, and use it to decide where time and budget go.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
