Job Title: Marketing Manager – The Experience Golf

Department: Marketing

Location: Gullivers Sports Travel Office, Tewkesbury (3 days a week in office)


The Experience Golf (TEG) specialises in luxury golf tours across Scotland, Ireland, and England. We offer guaranteed tee times at some of the world’s most iconic courses, including the Old Course St Andrews, paired with premium accommodation, cultural tours, and five-star hospitality.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and execute annual marketing strategies to drive awareness of the brand, generating bookings and revenue. Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role will play a key part in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and driving commercial performance.

The role is designed for a versatile marketer who can contribute across multiple disciplines, building experience in campaign delivery, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, and performance optimisation. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activity aligns with revenue targets, audience needs, and brand positioning.


YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across all TEG products, aligned to revenue targets and commercial priorities
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, paid media, and social channels, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to an exceptional standard
  • Go-to-market planning for key events and ensuring campaigns are effectively positioned to drive demand, using historical performance and market trends
  • Website management alongside our digital team, ensuring content, messaging, and imagery resonate with our different target audiences
  • Support the development and optimisation of the digital marketing funnel, improving engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates, overseeing SEO and content strategies
  • Support content creation across multiple channels, maintaining consistency in tone of voice and premium brand positioning, with strong attention to detail across all outputs ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality
  • Work closely with internal specialists (content, digital, performance) to deliver integrated marketing activity
  • Assist the Head of Marketing with the management of an external PR company to drive TEG brand awareness in different markets across the globe
  • Organise relevant influencers and content creators to attend key events
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, and marketing to ensure alignment on messaging, targeting, and campaign delivery
  • Build external relationships with key rights holders connected to the TEG brand
  • Assist the development of customer journeys, including acquisition, nurture, and retention activity, owning customer acquisition, retention, and future loyalty programmes
  • Track and analyse campaign performance using CRM and analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations to improve future activity
  • Producing monthly marketing reports to present to the TEG senior leadership team
  • Ensure all marketing activity complies with data protection and consent regulations (including GDPR)

YOU’LL HAVE

  • At least 5 years’ marketing experience, ideally within events, sport, hospitality, or a related sector
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign delivery across multiple platforms
  • Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes
  • The ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Organised skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
  • Confident communication skills, able to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs
  • Initiative and be a self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Experience of working with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools (such as Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe Creative Pro, Google Analytics, Hootsuite)
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including regular trips up to St Andrews in Scotland, as well as the desire to attend golf tours and events
