About Smuccii
Smuccii Trading Ltd is a UK-based company operating Smuccii Life, a lifestyle brand built around the philosophy: “I’m perfect, just the way I am.” Under Smuccii Life, Smuccii Jewelry is our jewellery line specialising in pearl jewellery designed and handcrafted in the UK. Our collections feature freshwater, baroque, Tahitian and South Sea pearls, combining natural materials with contemporary design.
Smuccii Jewelry is entering an important stage of growth. Our collections are now available through Wolf & Badger as well as our own online channels, and we are continuing to develop the brand through social media, digital campaigns and a growing programme of physical markets, exhibitions and customer-facing events.
We are looking for an experienced and creative Marketing Manager to take responsibility for the marketing of Smuccii Jewelry and help shape the next stage of the brand’s development in the UK.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for Smuccii Jewelry, ensuring that our marketing activities support the company’s wider business objectives and maintain a consistent brand identity.
This is a hands-on role combining marketing strategy, digital marketing, content development, market research and offline brand activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns for Smuccii Jewelry across online and offline channels, in line with the company’s business objectives and brand positioning.
- Develop and oversee the brand’s social media strategy, including Instagram and TikTok, covering content planning, audience targeting, campaign implementation and performance analysis.
- Plan product and seasonal marketing themes and coordinate the production of photography, video, promotional materials and other creative content.
- Oversee the presentation and marketing of Smuccii Jewelry across our own website and external retail platforms, including Wolf & Badger, ensuring consistency in product imagery, brand messaging and promotional content.
- Plan and coordinate Smuccii’s marketing activities around markets, exhibitions, pop-ups and other offline events, including upcoming activities in locations such as Covent Garden and Crystal Palace and participation in selected art and lifestyle events.
- Develop pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to maximise brand exposure and customer engagement around these activities.
- Engage directly with customers at markets and events to gain first-hand insight into customer preferences, purchasing behaviour, product response and price sensitivity, and use these findings to inform future marketing decisions.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis, identifying relevant consumer trends, target customer groups, competitor positioning and opportunities for the Smuccii brand.
- Monitor and analyse marketing and sales data across different channels and campaigns, evaluating performance and preparing findings and recommendations for senior management.
- Maintain consistent brand positioning, messaging and visual presentation across social media, the website, retail platforms, promotional materials and physical events.
- Coordinate with photographers, designers, content creators, event organisers and other external suppliers where required to deliver marketing projects.
- Support the planning and management of the marketing budget and assess the effectiveness and return on investment of different marketing activities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
We are looking for someone who combines creativity with commercial awareness and analytical thinking.
You should understand that effective marketing is not simply about producing attractive content. You should be interested in understanding who our customers are, what they respond to, how the market is changing and how those insights can be translated into effective marketing decisions.
You should be equally comfortable planning a digital campaign, reviewing its performance and spending a weekend at a London market speaking directly with customers and observing how they respond to the brand.
The successful candidate should have:
- Significant relevant experience in marketing, brand promotion, digital marketing, events or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Strong knowledge of social media and digital content, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience or confidence in planning and coordinating exhibitions, markets, pop-ups or other customer-facing activities.
- Strong market research and analytical skills.
- The ability to interpret marketing and sales data and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- A strong visual sense and understanding of brand presentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and take ownership of marketing activities from planning through to implementation and review.
- Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential.

Experience in jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, art or another design-led consumer sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
