About Truffle Social
Established in 2010, Truffle Social is the UK’s first pure social media agency, producing award-winning work for some of the world’s biggest brands. We are proudly independent, female-led and ambitious. We have built a supportive environment where talented people are trusted to do their best work, develop their skills and bring forward new ideas. We are quick to experiment, open about what we learn and always looking for better ways to create meaningful work for our clients.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on Marketing Manager who enjoys turning ideas into action and can help make Truffle more visible to the brands, people and partners we most want to reach.
This is primarily a delivery role, with around 80% of your time focused on creating and running marketing activity and 20% focused on planning, reporting and improving our approach. This role will suit someone looking to have a direct impact on the way we create opportunities - through our case studies, experience, and the relationships we build with both our prospects and our clients.
You will work closely with our leadership and business development teams to turn Truffle’s commercial priorities into focused marketing activity. You will help us tell stronger stories, build relationships and create more high-quality opportunities.
Starting as a marketing team of one with a budget, you will have full ownership and autonomy of the day-to-day marketing function, but you will be working with the support of the leadership and operational team at Truffle.
You will be given guidance on the wider commercial direction, and you will help shape and deliver the marketing plan that supports it.
This role would suit someone who is happy moving between writing a case study, creating a piece of social content, preparing an email campaign, organising an event and reviewing the results.
What You'll Do
Marketing Planning and Delivery
- Turn Truffle’s commercial priorities into a focused annual marketing plan, then take day-to-day ownership of delivering, measuring and improving it.
- Support the social team across Truffle’s social media platforms as well as managing email campaigns, events, networking and website activity.
- Keep the plan moving while responding sensibly to new opportunities, platform changes and relevant cultural moments.
- Encouraged to suggest and test new ideas. Where an idea requires additional budget, you will put together a clear case for the investment and report back on the results.
Account-Based Marketing
- Working closely with the business development team, plan and deliver targeted campaigns for the brands and types of clients Truffle most wants to work with.
- Include researching target accounts, developing relevant content, creating outreach sequences and finding useful event or partnership opportunities.
- Support the generation and nurturing of opportunities, rather than being responsible for cold calling or closing new business, or any direct sales.
Content and Case Studies
- Include supporting the team to deliver client case studies and project stories, thought leadership, email content, short-form video, behind-the-scenes content, event and campaign content, updated showreels and marketing activity.
- Support in repurposing strong ideas across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, email, video and events, adapting the format and tone for each channel.
- Comfortable creating content yourself and using tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop or InDesign.
- Maintain a clear and consistent Truffle tone of voice. Our content should feel intelligent, confident, relevant and recognisably ours. Understand when work needs a polished finish and when a simpler, faster piece of content is more appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Social and Digital Presence
- Keep Truffle’s owned social channels active, useful and on-brand.
- Work closely with the wider team to uncover their knowledge, opinions and experiences, turning them into content that people want to save, share or respond to.
- Lead on shaping and executing the strategy that drives our social presence.
- Capture real life at Truffle, including the people, work and moments that show the energy and character of the agency.
- Make it easier for every member of the team to help represent Truffle by giving people ideas, prompts and practical support, without forcing everyone to communicate in the same way.
Events and Relationships
- Plan and deliver a small number of high-quality networking events, client roundtables and partner sessions that help Truffle build stronger relationships.
- Identify the industry events that are most relevant for Truffle.
- Find suitable podcasts, panels and speaking opportunities for the leadership team.
- Support senior team members with timely ideas and occasional drafting for Blog, LinkedIn or TikTok content. Helping them to develop their personal brand and point of view.
- Identify suitable awards and coordinate entries where there is a strong reason to enter. This would follow your annual marketing plan with enough time for sign-off and for the team to give support in coordinating entries.
- Focus on choosing the right opportunities and executing them well, rather than trying to be present everywhere.
AI-Enabled Marketing
- Working closely with the Operations team, explore and implement ways AI can strengthen our agency marketing - increasing output, effectiveness and automation without compromising quality.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to work smarter, scale what works and improve the efficiency and impact of our marketing activity.
- Encourage using approved AI tools to support research, ideas, first drafts and content repurposing, but you will be responsible for checking that everything we publish is accurate, useful, human and consistent with Truffle’s tone of voice.
Measurement and Reporting
- Work with the leadership and business development teams to agree the outcomes marketing should support.
- Track and report on practical measures including:
- High-quality leads and conversations influenced by marketing
- Engagement from target accounts
- Case studies and content produced
- Email and social performance
- Event attendance and follow-up
- Event and campaign costs
- Opportunities influenced
- Website activity and enquiries
- Use reporting to identify what is working, what needs to change and where we should focus next. We are looking for clear conclusions and useful recommendations, not reports filled with numbers for the sake of it.
You'll be great at this if you...
- Have at least three years’ experience in marketing for a digital or creative agency, or another B2B professional services business
- Are a strong writer who can turn work, ideas and results into clear stories
- Have delivered account-based marketing, events or targeted campaigns that contributed to new business opportunities
- Are comfortable producing content yourself, rather than relying entirely on agencies or junior team members
- Are confident and have experience using Instagram and TikTok, experience using other marketing platforms will be useful and any experience using tools such as Sprout Social, GA4, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Canva would be advantageous.
- Understand how to use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude without losing accuracy or the human voice, while keeping in line with Truffle’s AI Policy.
- Are comfortable working with data and can use spreadsheets to track activity and identify patterns
- Communicate clearly and have excellent spelling and grammar
- Are proactive, personable and willing to take responsibility for getting things done
- Can balance creative ideas with commercial priorities
- Are comfortable asking questions, responding to feedback and being honest when something has not worked
- Do not need to be a salesperson, but must understand that the purpose of B2B marketing is to help create relationships, conversations and commercial opportunities.
