I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What will you be doing?
Take Back Your Mind UK exists to create healthier minds. Supporting people directly, providing accessible resources, and working with organisations to normalise conversations about mental health. None of that happens if people don't know we're here.
As Marketing Manager, you'll lead TBYM's marketing function and the volunteers within it, shaping how the charity presents itself, how our services reach the people who need them, and how our message cuts through. It's a role for someone who understands that marketing a mental health charity is not the same as marketing a product.
What's in it for You?
Real Ownership
Lead an entire function and see your strategy shape how a national charity is perceived.
Visible Impact
Every campaign that reaches the right person at the right time is someone who gets support they might not otherwise have found.
Professional Development
Build experience in leadership, strategy, brand management, and cross-functional working within the mental health sector.
Portfolio & References
Tangible work to evidence, plus a reference reflecting your contribution.
A Values-Led Team
Join a team of 500 volunteers who believe in our mission.
