JOB TITLE – Marketing Office Manager - Maternity Cover

DEPARTMENT – Marketing

CONTRACT TYPE – Temporary

RATE OF PAY – Competitive

HOURS – 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

LOCATION – Newport, NP18 2LX

OVERVIEW

Join the ‘Greatest Story in Hospitality’ by becoming our Marketing Office Manager and play a key role in supporting the success of The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales. Working closely with the Group Marketing Director and Head of Marketing, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the Marketing Department, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, deadlines are achieved, and the team remains engaged, motivated and focused on delivering exceptional results.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE

  • Previous experience in an administrative, office management, marketing coordination or team leadership role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, expenses and general administration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
  • A professional, friendly and confident approach with a strong commitment to confidentiality
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and employee engagement initiatives (desirable)
  • Experience within a marketing or hospitality environment (desirable)

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES YOU CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL

  • Support the day-to-day management and organisation of The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales Marketing Department
  • Coordinate team workloads, manage service desk requests and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved
  • Assist with departmental budgets, expenses, purchase orders and financial administration
  • Create and manage team training plans, incentive programmes and engagement initiatives
  • Support recruitment, inductions, rota management and general HR administration within the department
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Group Marketing Director and Head of Marketing
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and produce accurate minutes when required
  • Coordinate VIP events, accommodation bookings and travel arrangements
  • Support website content updates, email campaigns and wider marketing activity
  • Build positive relationships with internal departments, external suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Maintain high standards of administration, organisation and customer service across all aspects of the role
  • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and marketing best practice
