Job title: Marketing Officer
Location: Head Office - 8 Clemens Street, Leamington Spa, CV31 2DL (with travel across Coventry and Warwickshire)
Hours per week: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,170.85 per annum
About the role:
Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire is recruiting! We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join our friendly and dedicated Central Administration Team.
Our Marketing Officer plays a key role in raising awareness of the charity's services, projects, and impact across Coventry and Warwickshire. Working closely with the Central Operations Manager, you will help deliver engaging marketing campaigns, manage social media channels, create compelling content, support community engagement activities, and promote the work of the charity to a wide range of audiences. If you are a creative and organised individual who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of older people, then this may be the role for you!
You will have:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience of using a range of social media platforms effectively
- The ability to create engaging and informative content for different audiences
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email, web-based research, websites and social media
- The ability to manage supporter and customer information accurately using databases or CRM systems
- An understanding and appreciation of the needs of older people
- The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, community groups and external partners
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Ideally you will also have:
- An understanding of marketing and communications across both digital and traditional channels
- Experience of creating content for social media, websites, newsletters and printed materials
- An understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality
